I started reading the series about 10 years ago, read all the available books back then and then decided I would wait for the series to be completed before starting again. Recently I started to re-read the series again even though the last book is not yet done. Just couldnt help it :). Finished ToM yesterday and thought it would be a good time to enter these boards to keep up my personal hype for AMoL.

 

About myself: I'm a 26 year old Swede who enjoys reading, spending time with my wife and 4 kids and work with elder care.

If it's strictly book discussion you are looking for, then head on over to those boards and you will find a world of possibilities I am sure. I personally don't hang out there much as it's been nearly 6 years since reading the books and I've been waiting for it to all be done so I can reread the series straight through essentially (might start this summer as I tend to be a bit of a slow reader at times).

 

If you want to socialize, we have some awesome social orgs...such as the Band of the Red Hand. I'm second in command over there and we tend to have lots of fun music based threads and just general playing around and lots of drinking! We enjoy rolling the dice and for the most part living life on the edge

 

Also, there is the roleplaying area of the site where you can create your own journeys through Randland...and before I butcher the explanation anymore I will let someone from the RP side explain it to you! I would join the RP side but with my school schedule in Real Life I can only do so much, ya know? (I'm studying English Education and am currently studying abroad in Spain and have been doing my fair share of traveling in the last three months!)

I've already begun browsing different sections, reading various threads and feel somewhat disappointed that I have not registered here earlier. RPing sounds interesting, though it depends on if I can put enough time on it in that case. I don't like to do things half-heartedly. I'll be sure to check out all the boards and see where I feel most at home :)

 

Oh btw, the name Endyowitch. Well, in short I usually call myself Endymion but the name was taken so it's kind of like my backup, hasn't failed me thus far :). Not sure how I came up with it actually.
