No, I just manage to change my own wording until there isn't enough left to bother posting. That statement alone went through two revisions.

Upon risk of being blamed of bandwagoning, I'll agree to Vote Mav.

Oh Northy, you shouldn't be so cautious. If you just type what you are thinking, or how you would normally say stuff it will probably come out fine. If it doesn't just say sorry. Its no big deal. You will never learn to relax and just type if you don't just go with it. I've made some major stuff ups and I've only been here a month. It all sorts out and blows over though :-) come to the party we are having at the Moat and let your hair down.

And I will also vote Mav because he is so inactive and has also completely had it in for me in the past.

Well, we don't know if that's what happened, but -

9. I reserve the right to change rules and kill people

That's why mods make that rule, and I think he was justified in doing so, if he did.

The sewers were damp, dark, and filled with the echoes of dripping water. Nothing dwelled within these diseased halls.

Well, nothing except a foul mutant of Chaos.

Lug almost gently turned another page of one of his dead master's spellbooks. He did not have psychic powers, or the ability to channel warp-magic for another to use, but he was not the brightest spark in the void, and didnt realise this. All he knew, was that if you said the right words, something destructive happened.

Lug liked destruction. Especially destruction that resulted in the death of a normal. You see, Lug hated the normals, also known as the ordinary humans, the 'pure' specimens of humanity. Lug didnt think there was anything pure about those monsters; did his parents exhibit purity when they threw his twisted, newly-born body to the wolves, unable to kill him themselves? Did the Inquisitor exhibit purity when he had his men chase Lug through the woods? Did the strangers who fled in terror and attacked him, when all he had done was ask for help, exhibit purity?

"No...." Lug whispered to the book he held. "No...." It was louder this time. "No... No... No! No! NO! NO! NO!!! The echoes of his screams bounced through the sewers. "I HATE them!" Lug roared for the fiftieth time in his life, "I kill them all! They die! They DIE!" Lug threw the book to the ground, and began smashing the rockcrete tunnels around him, ranting against the world.

Suddenly many footsteps rang through the tunnels, accompanied by angry voices. Lug didnt notice at first, but stopped his rage once they grew closer. His first thought was to escape, but then.... why bother? They would hunt him down again. This time... this time he would not run, this time he would fight. This time the normals would DIE.

Snarling in rage, Lug charged down the tunnels, and saw a mob of townspeople wielding torches and guns facing him. Frozen in shock, the mutant and the mob stared at each other for a few agonising seconds, not knowing what to do. Lug broke the standoff, roaring in rage and leaping into the crowd. With crooked tooth and grimy claw, Lug ripped and fought like a daemon, scratching, biting and mauling any who stood in his way. Too scared to fight back, most of the mob dissipated in fear and horror, unable to help the unlucky few being savaged by the angry mutant.

Suddenly a massive, brutish figure appeared. Taller and wider than any man, the Ogrynn known as Dib looked at the raging mutant and frowned. "Don' hur' my frien's!" The abhuman cried in anger, and the Ogrynn, casting aside his massive Ripper Gun, tackled Lug to the ground. Abhuman and Chaos mutant struggled and wrestled as the townspeople looked on, cheering on their Ogrynn saviour.

Dib fought to the top and pinned Lug down, pushing him into the filthy water. Reaching out with one hand and seizing his Ripper Gun, he pointed the massive, bladed shotgun at the struggling mutant. Lug became frenzied as he saw his doom approaching, but could do nothing as Dib pulled the trigger, destroying Lug's stomach. Dib stood up as Lug's frenzied snarls became laboured gasps.

The Commissar, Ararn Sankr, appeared behind Dib, and knelt next to the dying mutant. Lug looked at the Ogrynn in shock, as if unable to believe what had happened, and his gaze shifted to the Commissar, puzzlement becoming an almost human sadness. Lug's rotting lips wriggled for a bit, trying to form words, and he said "I-I-it o-over?".

Ararn Sankr, Commissar of Tarsum, replied, his voice heavy with sadness and low enough so that no-one but him, Lug and the forgetful Dib could hear, "Yes, son. It is over." Withdrawing his boltpistol, he pointed a shaking hand at his son's head.

Just as he was about to pull the trigger, Lug grabbed the Commissar's wrist. "Y-y-you are a-a-angry a-at m-me?" Ararn hesitated, tears forming in his eyes. "No, I am not angry. I never was. I never should have given you up. I am so, so sorry. I just want you to know that." Lug's clawed hand fell away, and his lips curled into a smile. The smile remained on his face, even after his skull had been shattered. The smile remained long after the people of Tarsum had left. It didnt even dissapear as his father returned the next day, and gave him a proper burial.

Mav, Mafia Goon (Chaos Mutant) was Lynched!

Night has now begun.

All Night Actions must be submitted by 9PM 14 MAY

WOW! I love your scenes! Absolutely amazing!

I honestly felt sad at the end of the scene, it was so well written and touching.

I think we might still have one more to go? Didn't someone say that usually in games this size we have only four mafias?

Posted

I would say usually 3 mafia in a 12-player game; typically it's 1/4 scum. But some people do 1/3 sometimes, so there may be another play left. I don't think we have an SK, so it must be 1 more left.

At the end of the day, when everyone was asleep, Urmor Garbium decided that he had had enough of Sarmon Torsium, crept into his barracks, and murdered him in his sleep. The guardsman was too talkative, and VERY annoying, Urmor reflected as he left.

Heresy is like a tree, Urmor thought to himself. You cannot get rid of it all by simply cutting it down, you had to dig up the roots and burn them lest the tree grow anew. And where were the roots? Inside the people of Tarsum, of course. The only way to ensure that Chaos was eradicated was to kill each and every person that it can corrupt.

Ithillian, Vanilla Townie, (Imperial Guardsman) has been Night Killed!

With 4 left alive, you need 3 to lynch.

I dont think we really need a deadline right now, i dont want to rush you. I will install one if the game slows too much, though.

The scene actually made me laugh! :D "... was to talkative" (I don't agree with the rest of the sentence though).

But with whom am I going to play this now then? Well lets hope that Alanna and North remain active :)

But this was interesting decision from the last mafia.

Yesterday there was two things that caught my eye: North has became active again. Could be scummy, though Ith said that North had been away in some social group also, so I don't FOS North, but Vamb's actions caught my eye even more: he has the habit of jumping in the bandwagon the last minute (yesterday after it was clear that we will hang Mav and the day before that), so major FOS on Vamb, and as I don't at the moment have better candidate, I will cast my vote: Vote Vamb

Well... when you asked for a tragic and beautiful death, I just knew that yours would be the least tragic and the least beautiful of them all.

You played well, though, Ithi. Until we meet again, adious!

I'll go along with your vote Kill, there doesn't seem to be many other options. I know you aren't scum, and I know I'm not scum, so that leaves Alanna and Vambram. Vote Vambram

Posted

Interesting. Can I ask how you know that killuliu is innocent, North? I'm inclined to vote Vambram as well, but I'd like to hear your answer first.

We're at endgame here, so I want to be sure not to lynch another innocent, because if we do and there's a successful nk, mafia wins.

Posted

Well, I guess since it's the last sequence I guess there's no harm in it.

I am the investigator.

I investigated Kill, and found that he's not mafia. I also investigated you Alanna and found you were not mafia.

Since I'm not mafia, that only leaves Vamb.

Posted

That's what I thought, I kind of just wanted to be sure. And there's no harm, like you said, since we're at endgame. So I will go with it and vote Vambram.

Posted

I know that I am NOT mafia.

If you lynch me, then you are going to be lynching a Townie. I know that I cannot stop you all from lynching me, but I promise you that the results of said lynching will show that I am Town.

I VOTE Northwind for the lynch.

Dib was confused about all the yelling. Why were they yelling? Dib didnt like yelling. Dib got upset when people yelled. Dib preffered eating. Dib liked food. Especially chocolate. Dib loved chocolate.

Dib was so busy thinking about how much he loved chocolate, that he didnt notice when everyone surrounded him.

Dib didnt even notice when Ararn Sankr pointed his boltpistol at Dib's head, and mouthed the words "Im sorry" as he pulled the trigger.

Vambram, Vanilla Townie (Ogrynn) has been Lynched!

It is almost over. If the NK is successful, the town loses.

It is up to the doctor to heal the right person, and give the town one more day to lynch the right person.

Good luck.

What the... That means we have a night-killer who isn't mafia or who can fool investigations, and it's either Killuliu or Alanna, and I don't think it's Kill.

Vambram was the only person I hadn't investigated.

Sorry Vamb, I ignored the possibility of having a foe my investigate couldn't identify.
