Scooby Doo was because it was a major clue for us Townies - which is why I asked the question - Who is really inactive and thus would be holding the game up in this way?

But a little time ago, I took a look at last few pages, and honestly, there was two posts from Alanna and JLM, one from Vamb and Songs, and then loads of posts from you and me :D

I agree with Ithillian in that I suspect Mav may well be scum.

But I do have to say, inactivity doesn't necessarily mean scum. If it were that simple, then either it would flip itself on it's head, or mafia would be easy to find.

Since not all active posters are scum, and we still have scum, there must be a mix. I think that another incriminating factor towards Mav might be his shift from quite active to inactive. Right near the beginning his posts were frequent, but they slowly decreased until the point that he's almost not here anymore.

Perhaps this was a way to create an illusion of activity, so as to not raise suspicions. Perhaps not, and I'm completely wrong.

Regardless, there aren't very many people I really suspect of being scum, but Mav certainly seems like he may be mafia.

Up to Blackhoof, of course, but that's kind of a big no-no. Some people do actually spend much of Night deciding how to use their NA. If a mod ever did that, I likely would avoid their games in the future.

Maybe also a finder/healer? Just because we know someone has not submitted their NA, that doesn't mean it's mafia. It doesn't even necessarily mean they're inactive.

It was dark in the Imperial Guard barracks. The only sound that could be heard was the calls of nightbirds and the crunch of patrolling sentries, defending the base against the dangers of the night.

 

Not a single light was on, either. Darkness shrouded the area like a veil, concealing everything from site. Unfortunately, the base was not the only thing concealed.

 

The mutant crept through the barracks, with a grace belying his twisted bulk, wihtout making a sound. With barely a whisper, he eliminated any sentrys in his way, and gradually edged towards his target.

 

Victor Varsus awoke as a snarling man-beast leapt through his window and slashed at him with mutated talons. Crawling ot of bed with a cry, Victor grabbed his lasgun and calmly aimed it at the mutant, but Lug was too fast, turning aside the khaki rifle and tackling the Stormtrooper to the ground. Victor struggled, but he could not stop the mutant's claws from encircling his throat. Grinning and chortling obscenely, the mutant bared a diseased mouth full of rotten teeth at the gasping Stormtrooper.

 

By the time help arrived and the alarm was sounded, Lug was long gone and Victor lay blue-faced and cold on the floor of his bedchamber.

So Mav is inactive. But some of us think he could be a scum (Ith and North). Though the fact that North has been quiet for a while bugs me.

Could Songs kill be result of a random kill? Because honestly, I don't see any reason to kill Songs. If I had the power, I would most likely killed Ith and claimed that it would just be the thing mafia would do to make me look scummy (and why the didn't do it, I don't understand, they could easily have led me to the gallows). Also the only "good" in killing Songs for mafia is that they have one less townie to take care of.

 

But as far as I'm aware, we have few players who have been said to be suspicious:

Mav

 

I claimed that Ith is suspicious, but I don't think it counts, as I'm still unable to track it down. It might be just because he is active, but that's not much of a reason.

:D This is exactly one of the reasons I hate english: why in earth do we need different third-person, singular personal pronoun s for girls and boys? In finland we have only one third-person, singular personal pronoun "hän" which can mean anybody. It's so much easier (and maybe that's why I'm so bad at keeping track who's a male and who's a female).

Since you brought it up, I've been inactive to prevent myself from talking myself into a hole like I did earlier.

That said, I'm pretty sure that Mav (or his replacement) is scum.
