I have revealed pretty much everything besides the specifics of my role. The thief in the scenes is me. I am innocent so Dallar won't take well to my death. I am willing to sacrifice myself, but not needlessly.

I agree. We should let Wombat sacrifice himself. I don't buy the whole "there is no win condition so we have to keep an open mind" approach to this. We may not have been given a win condition but I guarantee that if we don't get the scum we lose. My money is on Wombat and Limi right now. My vote stays where it is.

I think I see where Wombat is trying to come from. However, with a Deathseeker claim (and DSkers being most likly innocent) having not been hammered down, I'm more inclined to beilieve Aemon at this point. First Wombat came out with a Miller claim, warding away any potential viewings, and now this? It seems more than unlikely. This seems to have been an attempt to lead us into a quick lynch.

Wombat

I just trust you less than anyone else at this point.

Bah, my ethernet cable stopped working and I had to get a new one.

Also, I don't see how Aemon's deathseeker claim makes him likely innocent. Maybe he's not a deathseeker. Maybe he's not innocent. How would Toy balance mason deathseekers and an innocent cult? Doesn't make sense.

Agree with bolded. Happy with my vote. We should lynch Wombat.

how dares you persuade me to vote in such a manner, mister verbal!!! Buddy Christ... PSH! rolleyes.gif

no... really... ill play with myself and my rhetoric paper until others have their input on womby and his wombiness.

I could be wrong, but I'm not scum.

This I think is the strangest thing you've said all game. If you can't be sure whether you're innocent or not, I don't see how you can expect everyone else to believe you're innocent. You've said a lot of very ambiguous things this game and it's been more confusing than helpful.

Vote Wombat.

Didn't want to have to do this, however. Wombat is telling the truth. He is innocent.

I recruited him and it was successful last night.

He is a thief, and I believe him over Aemon because of what he has told me and based on the story plot.

If you'll notice, in the story line I talk to some one to see if he is ok, since he is wincing.

His eyes are obviously bothering him.

It's because he was the thief earlier who attempted to get the Medallion.

I still want to hear more from Aemon.

And no one will ever believe me, but I was going to say I actually get innocent vibes from Wombat and I have reason to think that at least one of those voting for him is guilty. O.o Strong reasons.

Dunno if I want to vote Aemon, though....

And FYI, I'm going to be barely active in this game, but still part of it as long as there is no one to replace me.

I'm sorry but this is hard to make sense of - the self-proclaimed innocent recruiting cult leader recruits the thief who's alignment will view as scum, and states that he is also innocent. You have to admit this sounds bizarre.

Regarding Meesh - can you tell us anything more specific about who you think is guilty?

I see this going down two ways:

1. We believe Limi and jump off of Wombat onto Aemon (or whoever)

2. We lynch Wombat and find out the truth of this once and for all. Unless Wombat as a relationship-bond with someone?

I'm actually supportive of 2, as it can confirm Limi, which effects me directly. I can also support 1, though. I'm easy.

Crimson Tides

There was a reason we followed them.

They were more than leaders.

There was something within them.

Something that could reach out and grab us, strengthen us.

That is not just fancy talk.

You could SEE it seeping out of them.

A red mist.

Like blood.

Assumed surviving Deathseeker

circa 1290 SR

24 Summer, 1290 SR

The morning sun found the Asteri ship set once again out to sea. The Land of Ash, its final destination. A broken contentment full of mystery and dread. It was said that the end of Tibine Nolon, the Time of Knowledge ended in the Land of Ash, that was known by another name now lost in time. Not much was known about the time before Saevor’s Rest.

And so the ship sailed to its final destination, knowing it would be just that, and those that rode her back were left to contemplate their lives that had lead up to this point. Not one of them thought they would make it out alive. No one went to the Land of Ash and came back.

Dallar had spoken with his Asteri friend, Kylan and found out that a new Alfa had been chosen. Dallar had taken to his room and no one had seen him for hours. Menden Atal and Anamira Cirindol decided to team up to find the culprit of these murders. It was a matter too long ignored, even if Anamira suspected the group that was behind it, if not who they were. Assassins could not be weeded out until they had grown overconfident after many successful assassinations. It had been a price Anamira had been forced to pay.

Many humans claimed that it had to be the Asteri, while the Asteri demanded human blood for the death of their Alfa.

“Those monsters have been behind it all along. Look at them. Why in such a hurry? And those eyes. You can’t trust ‘em.” One man claimed, knowingly.

“The death of our Alfa must be reconciled,” the new Alfa, Acrasifer, demanded. “Blood for blood.”

“This will turn into a mutiny if we’re not careful,” Menden cautioned.

But as they continued their investigation, they found a likely culprit. An Asteri that was part of the ships crew. He wore daggers along his belt, and was outspoken about his hatred of humans. Those two deaths had been by a knife. The pieces fit well enough, but they needed more to go on.

“Yes, Useanifer came to speak with me.” Cleagolifer growled. “We came to an understanding about our separate Packs. Whether this new Alfa will be as sensible…we will see.”

“Did any of your crew know about this? Were any of them upset?” Menden asked.

“Yes, many knew. And many were upset.” The Alfa pondered for a moment. “Vian was the worst, though. He called me weak for agreeing to the terms, and called them sacra for staying with humans.” Anamira did not know what a sacra was, but it did not sound complimentary.

Menden nodded his thanks and they departed. “Vian. The one with the belt of knives. It adds up quite nicely, doesn’t it?”

Anamira rubbed the back of her neck – sore from the sun – and nodded unsatisfied. “It does. I had thought it Assassins.”

Menden stopped them both and bent to whisper to her. “Of course it’s the Assassins. But we have to create a scapegoat, make them feel that much more invisible.”

She widened her eyes in true shock. “Menden, that’s downright devious.”

He smiled. “You have to play their game to win.”
