Paid you a visit...that sounds...errr.....rude...*giggles*

If Wombat wants to say something then he needs to spell it out. then we can give Aemon an Inquisition on this, but there seems to be lacking information of this!

Nope. If I knew I was going to live I sure as heck wouldn't have revealed every single thing and put up with the twenty questions.

I agree with this. I get the impression that Limi didn't know.

FD, I was just making the point that generally if someone is saved from a lynch, they're told or know in some way, whether it was you saving her or some other intervention. I'm questioning it even more because of your random connection with each other. You haven't been playing very town FD.

I disagree here. If you are saved from a lynch, that's pretty much all the info you get. Not "x" player saved you, but rather that you are simply not lynched.

I wasn't particularly trying to say that, Verbal, but the way she was saying it, it seemed a complete shock, like she wasn't even TOLD she was saved, which made it seem a little faked to me. This added to a sudden connection to False Dragon protecting her, who I'm classifying for the moment as pretty shifty-looking, makes me a little skeptical about Limi's alignments and what she knows. Something just seems off, but apparently I can't talk to FD because it all just goes in one ear and out the other. rolleyes.gif

I honestly thought I would be lynched. I had L+1 votes. The mod merely stated that if one dies, the other does as well.

Maybe he didn't want to loose yet another two people on the second day. *shrugs*

THIS is what pinged me like a mafia in devils horns poking with a stick. Fo realz.

Now I have to go to class... G'day.

Totally agreed on that last post, AJ. It does set alarms off, but is it just Limi not realizing how a mod might handle something like that, or some ulterior motive?

Posted

Logically, it made sense in my mind for the mod NOT to want to loose 4 people lynched in the first two days, not counting night kills.

Never been saved for a lynch when the correct number was reached, with no explication.

Could've been a governor for all we know. That being said, from the scene it looks to me like it was FD's protection. I'm getting innocent vibes from FD and Limi. Not sure about AJ or anyone else.

The Price of Foresight

She was proud.

She was beautiful.

She was mine.

She was deadly.

She is gone.

Carden tol Gresfor

circa 2160 TN

23 Summer, 1290 SR

The body of Aedon Eliden had been wrapped and burned on a pyre, an identical ceremony to the deaths of Esian Rinend, and the two Cidwyr. They never did find the body that had drowned, but they burned a pyre for it anyways, in hope the simple meaning of the ceremony would see the final rest assured. Word had been sent by horse to Onest, to inform Aedon’s father and brother of his death. Eliden was not among the Council, but they were known and widely respected by the Council. There would be fallout from the death of the youngest Eliden son, but that could not be a top concern.

Dallar stood behind Anamira as the Purveyor faced the remaining members of the voyage. She stood awkwardly as if she knew she did not belong at the head of this group. “We have reached Alir.” She sighed with relief, hoping to take the edge off the atmosphere. “Thank you all for your participation in this matter. We will only require a few of you as we go into Alir, the rest of you will remain on the ship for the most part. Feel free to walk around the harbor and even relax in some of the nearby taverns. We will be leaving back to Ohral by morning.” She nodded to herself, satisfied that what needed to be said had been said.

“Hold on.” Someone shouted. It was Saric Fortt, one of the many who were not Deathseekers. “We’ve come all this way for the promise of glory. We deserve answers.” Mutters of agreement rose in the crowd.

“What answers?”

“Those Deathseekers, who killed them and why? Are we all in danger of being killed in our sleep?”

“I don’t know.” She answered.

“That is unacceptable.” Saric stated, earning yells of agreement.

“Regardless, it is. Anything else?”

“Yeah, but not for you.” Saric turned to Dallar.

“I’m not sure that’s a good idea.” Anamira cautioned.

“It’s okay.” Dallar said softly, walking up beside Anamira. “I knew this was coming.” He looked over the crowd. “You all want to know if the stories are true. About Sted. About the Deserter.”

“No.” Saric denied. He lifted his chin up proudly, water in his eyes. “We want to tell you something.” Dallar could not hide his surprise. “Each and every one of us are here because we believe that story for the dung that it is. We’re with you, Dallar. We’re with you, Bloodeyes!” Another cheer, and every gave Dallar a salute, fist to brow. Dallar took a step back, obviously overcome.

Anamira decided to take back the reins. “Is that all?”

“Not quite,” Saric said, giving Dallar a nod of respect before turning back to the Purveyor. “We also want to know what this is all for.”

“Well,” Anamira hesitated. “I don’t really think-”

“Oh come on,” Dallar interrupted. “They’ve held up their end of the deal. Why don’t you just tell them. If there anyone among them who is not on our side, chances are they already know anyways.”

Anamira could only stare at Dallar. He did not seem his usual drunken self. Had he ran out of the challan that quickly? Had what Saric and the others done had that much of an effect? Dallar only folded his arms and lifted an eyebrow.

“Very well.” She muttered agitatedly. “We all know of the death of King Arlantinus VII, Vidan Tinnarnon. Even now the Council of Ten schedules a meeting to elect King Arlantinus VIII. This we must stop.”

“How are we going to stop Nobles?” Saric laughed.

“By procuring an heir.”

Silence as the words sank in.

“What are you talking about?” Saric finally asked.

It was Dallar who answered. “We’re here to extricate and protect Vidan’s illegitimate son.”

Just did a reread. Player's post that said Song's half reveal was scummy but that I was rolefishing just seemed odd to me. Also Thorum and Led are being useless enough to garner an FoS each from me.

It sounded like you were fishing a bit and using the half reveal as a bit of a cover. Dude this is mafia, people over read everything. You weren't lynched for it and IMO your over reacting a bit. Its just what I thought at the time and I trust my instint

The group began their trek through the crowded streets of Alir. Alir was famous for its beaches and got a lot of outsiders visiting. The Deathseekers that had come along were on edge, for good reason. Two of their numbers had been killed in the night. Some thought that because of their name, they sought death. But that was untrue. In fact, the Deathseekers main purpose was protection. Defending those that could not defend themselves. This was a truth that had been lost in the smog of legends surrounding the Deathseekers. It was the reason people like Saric had the wrong idea of the soldiers.

Dallar turned to Mirassa Ies and Sacar Tsilnar. “Sacar, I thought I saw your brothers aboard.”

“Yes,” Sacar said with a sigh. “They wish to catch your eye and be initiated into the Deathseekers.”

“Do they?” Dallar mused with a smile.

Sacar could barely contain the fury from his voice. “They have no idea what it means to be a Deathseeker. They believe the stories and wish to be part of the legends. Fools.”

“So, you haven’t explained to them the truth of the Deathseekers?”

Sacar gave Dallar a look. “It is not something to be explained, as you know. It is something to be known.”

Dallar did know. The knowing could not be taught. It had to be felt. To be experienced. And he would not wish that experience on anybody.

"But isn't that what you all wanted?" He asked. Their curious expressions made him smile. "The posters seemed to have done their job attracting death seekers."

"That's not funny." Mirassa said, looking away. Dallar disagreed. He thought it was all very funny.

Next he spotted a newcomer who had managed to fill in the space of Esian. He was not much more than a boy. He seemed to be constantly wincing, as if the sun was too bright for him. Dallar did not know his name, and was about to find out when Anamira stopped and held up a hand.

“We’re here.” She announced.

They stood before a small run down house barely more than a shack. The door used to have a screen, but it had been eaten away by rust. “It just keeps getting better.” Dallar muttered to himself.

I am going to go on my gut and vote Aemon right now.

That little exchange between Wombat and Aemon was really weird and didn't sit right with me.

Wombat is always wierd, and I will be watching him too, but Aemon is higher on my list.

So I'm the only one that is confused by FD and Limi? Where's some damn discussion?

I want to hear more from Aemon and Wombat, their exchange struck me as odd, but not enough to place a vote on either one, though why jump Aemon to Player Wombat? I don't have a good feel for anyone today and deadline may or may not be Monday; I don't just want to vote someone. dry.gif

I have not decided on Aemon. I'm not sure why he thinks I have interpreted anything strangely. I have reason to be suspicious of him, but I am granting him a reprieve for now. I am most interested in the lurkers and inactives right now.
