I was thinking more along the lines of tiny strands of balefire directed at the parts of my throat that hurt....

*carefully weaves the tiniest strands of balefire at the virulence and bacteriology infecting paets throat so that they never existed to torment him; repeats as necessary*

*considers gasoline*

they used to feed turpentine with sugar for a sore throat. um... please don't.

My grandma use to say a teaspoon of coal oil.

She rubbed some on a bee sting of mine once.

I don't remember if it worked but I'll never forget her doing it!

I once got a mouthful of gasoline when I was siphoning a tank. It was a weird experience. I didn't swallow any but the sensation was odd. It dried my mouth out but left it with the taste of what gas smells like.

1977 i think... something like that.... siphoning was always my job. very carcinogenic and very yucky.

turpentine's pretty bad, even with the sugar.

but those flame thrower freaks do it all the time. the gasoline, i mean.

The bad news is all I have is good whiskey.

maybe a liquor store on the way to the doctor?

though... good whiskey is good...

Yeah I don't think the wife will go for that stop.

if you explained it was medicinal?

very sorry.... i'd drink the good stuff then.
