The Typo/Errata Thread

In TFoH, the Band of the Red Hand sings:

 

"We'll sing all night, and drink all day,

and on the girls we'll spend our pay,

and when it's gone, then we'll away,

to dance with Jak o' the Shadows.

 

In LoC, they sing:

 

"We drink all night and dance all day,

and on the girls we spend our pay,

and when we're done, then we'll away,

to dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

 

Two verses really familiar but with subtle differences. Too subtle for a song of that kind, I guess.

Rereading ToM: Return to Bandar Eban

 

First page of the chapter: Blah blah blah rand & min, plus two maidins arrive back in bandar eban via gateway into an ally.

 

Exposition goes on to say that one of the maidins appears nervous for the lack of posse, or whatnot, and is then "reassured" by Rand, by means of placing his hand on her shoulder.

 

 

...Now who the f-bombing f-bomb thought that just fit right in on the list of how to reassure a nervous Aiel - by touching them while armed?

 

Gee, that just mixes perfectly with everything we know about the norms of Aiel society...

Is there an overview of the latest editions of the books so that I can check if its the latest before I buy? I'm guessing I'll have to visit a good old fashioned book store to be sure which one I get.

 

I'd love to see a "changelog" too although I doubt they do those.

"When her foot hit the paving stone, the stone turned to dust. Her food sank through the shattered paving stone and hit packed earth."

Pretty sure food is supposed to be foot here lol
