[Themed] AVATAR Mafia Game Thread - GAME ON

Good game peoples. I was hoping to...you know....survive...to win with the mafia. Could tell they were going to win, and thought I was symping the crap out of them. I agreed with everything they said, and put pressure on different people (never the mafia) to see if I could get them any leads.

 

Wombat started out as my alter-ego, but he didn't post that much - maybe 5-6 times? We even got called out for the weird pace-changing, lol. Then Mynd took over for Wombat, made perhaps 2-3 posts. The other 5634598475 were all mine. I must completely suck as a symp.

Well to me it seemed like everyone was in agreement with me at sometime or another. I guess I just really didn't even think of the possibility, like I said this was my first game when I started and it's my first major epic game, period except for Mynds now, so I just need to get used to there being other teams besides just mafia and townies.

I loved this game, but my mind was starting to get confuzzled having two alts at once... here and on MJ, two different Forsaken, I began wondering if I was sleep-posting or something with the name confusion! >.<

For a while Osan'gar was giving me a helpful scum vibe. There's nothing specific, though, and now I can't make up my mind. His points have been pretty pro-town -- I even said as much and ironically got called out for "buddying up" (Background: in the Assassins/Guard short game, I pointed out that the king should be treated as a normal suspect by the guards. So that's why it's ironic.) -- so I can't pinpoint anything. And I keep changing my mind with each of his posts.

Hybrid from the dead thread. You know... That's how you don't get killed for a while, right? Just enough each way to avoid the hit.

 

Kivy, I'm interested in what happened each night.

 

Night 1: Mafia targets Balthamel, who is protected by Aginor. Ishamael chooses to submit a kill, so it looks like the Mafia's kill went through on the wrong player (instead of what actually happened - mafia kill got blocked). Red freaks out that her water bending master just died.

 

Night 2: Mafia targets Rahvin, Iroh takes the blow for him

 

Night 3: Mafia targets Rahvin, and the kill gets through

 

Night 4: Mafia targets Osangar, kill switched to Taim. Ishamael kills Graendal. Red freaks out that her earth bending master just died

 

Night 5: Mafia kill goes through on Aginor

 

Night 6: Mafia kill goes through on Cyndane

BTW, Red investigated just about all of the mafia as her bending masters.

Haha - no kidding! Kinda surprised they went for the same person 2x in a row, though. As I wasn't pressuring the mafia, I'm not really sure why the tunnel-vision.

The first time we went after you rhavin was because we thought killing you would implicate Taim and then Taim would get lynched the next day, but then everything got screwed up because of Iroh.

 

Second time we were actually going to kill Ossy, but then Kiv told us the next person we killed would replace an innactive and we didn't want that. Our choices were between Cyndy and Rhavin and we thought Cyndy would get lynched the next day anyway, so we picked you Rhav.

Nah. I am not sure at all what I want to do about this night, so I would rather forgo any action. There's just not been much participation and I'm not sure at all if I've had any effect at all.

The night I got away take one. Should have taken it.

 

Crap! It's equally dangerous to be switched with anyone who is on the board! I won't switch with an inactive. I don't want to take a hit, and I don't want someone else to take one for me... Well, I do, but I can't be sure. I feel I need to move tonight. They are taking controversials, not inactives... Cyndane was almost lynched; Several were looked at hard (well, for this game.). Trade me with Taim. I almost choose Belal, but he's seeming more us than Taim. Taim is so... middling to me. Well, here's hoping for the best...
