thats right, there should be a confrontation of Masema and Rand, and that Masema cannot believe how Rand is and such and then he should say that Rand is not the Dragon Reborn, and claim himself so Rand has another war to fight!

Considering what happened in KOD, I kinda doubt Perrin will actually bring Masema to Rand. Rather just kill him and the remaining dragonsworn so they can't make any more trouble.

Masema must be a Wilder and able to channel ,,, he must be channeling Spirit weaves to make people follow him and be rabidly loyal to him,,, mybe he knows he is channeling Spirit Weaves and hopes to get close enough to Rand to be able to proslitize him (make him a follower)
