Okay, so I've changed my mind. It's day

 

So, the peaceful village of Fiddleton has recently been haunted by some werewolves. Now the villagers have had enough and they decide to lynch the hairy beasts.

 

It is DAY.

We're waiting for

the villagers to lynch someone.

hmm, yes, the lynching. ghastly business, that, but i suppose it's for everyone's safety. except for the guest of honor, of course....

 

i'm new to town though. i'd rather meet all my neighbours before i start yelling for their deaths... perhaps you might have a better idea, being a local?

well, to be truthful.... *sheepish expression*

 

i'm often heavily medicated, and sometimes details escape me. besides, from what i've heard, this only began but a short time ago; i've had the deed to the house for over a year, but it's taken some time to wrap up my affairs to be able to move.

 

honestly, i'm somewhat disturbed to find that my new home is in a town under attack by lycanthropes... most disconcerting, really. i shall have to change my locks!

 

tell me, are you villagers always so suspicious of strangers?

aaah yes, the lynching. well, so far, you all seem like such nice folks; a little suspicious maybe, but then again, all things considered, i suppose that's normal.

 

but what were to happen if you hanged the wrong fellow? wouldn't that be dreadful?

well then s/he at least will be saved from beeing riped to pieces by wolves and has helped our cause narrowing things down to who is the wolf...less we all end up victims if we cant find it before it kills us all

a good point. might be hard to take the situation philosophically when the noose is around one's neck, though.... :P still, i suppose you're right. a ghastly business, this. and i thought i was buying a quiet home in the country.
