From what I've heard, Sanchez is not a done deal yet. Probably because barca is trying to lower the pricetag a bit. But he should go for around €35M.

When it comes to Fabregas, I would say that Arsenal in a way already has replaced him, with Wilshere, who stood up and took the responsibility when Cesc was out injured last season.. But at the same time, losing Fabregas is quite a big loss, especially when it comes to prestige. How are you going to convince your other players that you are gooing to fight for titles, if your best player and captain is leaving? Apparently, Nasri is not at all convinced, and seems more and more likelly to leave. Wenger does not want to sell to another team in PL, but so far no team on the continent seems interested. Maybe because of the £25M pricetag...United has the money, shall be interesting to see what happens if they do launch a bid.

United is on the other hand looking at Pastore, but they are facing competition from Real Madrid and Malaga.

One more about United. They are apparently close to revealing a new deal with Nike, landing at around £40M/year. The former deal was around £23M/year, so quite a boost.

In the filthy pat of Manchester, Tevez has declared that he intends to leave the club. He says it is because of his kids, so logically he should go back to Argentina. But, I expect to see him in Spain or Italy next season. His statement immidiatly caused rumours flare up that City now dives headfirst after Aguero, who was all but done for Juventus.

City is also trying to get getting Hamsik from Napoli. Hamsik on the other hand never misses an opportunity to tell anyone who listens how much he wants to go to Milan. Unfortunatly for him, Milan does not seem to be among the listeners, as there has been no word about them returning the interest.

Sunderland signs Brown and O'Shea from United. The pair adds loads of experience to the team, and their arrival means that Sunderland so far has signed 7 new players during the summer. Europa League next season? I would not be surprised.

Heh, in an attempt to find a loophole in UEFAs new rules about financial fair play, they are selling the name of their stadium to UAE-based Etihad Airways. What's so funny about that? 'Etihad' is the Arabic word for 'United', so city will play their homegames at United Stadiumbiggrin.gif

Ouch. Only preseason, and already a huge blow for chelsea. Essien is injured and might be out up to six months. Interesting to see if chelsea will go for a desperate signing, as they really suffer when he's not on the midfield.

Falcao signs a new deal with porto, keeping him at the club till 2015. well, that kills the speculations that Chelsea would take advantage of his buy-out clause.

Meanwhile, Wenger tells media he rather lets Nasri go for free next summer, than sell him to United now. Kinda confirms Fabregas is moving to Barcelona in my eyes.

Ok, even the confirmed transfers can fall apart. City apparently changed their mind about the amount of money they are willing to let tevez go for, and corinthians were not interesting in throwing in more money.

Interesting situation, a player who desperatly wants to leave, but no clubs willing to pay enough. That bodes for a jolly dressing room next season...Especially since Adebayor is coming back. Though, Redknapp has offered to take him to tottenham, but only on loan.

But someone who does leave england for brazil is Denilson, from Arsenal to Sao Paolo. Granted, only on a season-long loan.

Aguero to City is a done deal.

As for Tevez, latest rumours has him going to Inter, one year loan with a buy option.

United say they are looking at one more signing, if the right player gets available for the right price. They are following three players...in other words, a creative midfielder, following Sneijder, Nasri and one more.

Reo-Coker from AV to Bolton. Meanwhile, AV tries to get N'Zogbie from Newcastle, a deal expected to be finished this week.

Swansea has bought Lita from Middlesborough.

Wolverhampton gets a nice boost in Michael Johnson from City and Spearing from Liverpool. But, since Wolves have already spent all their money it will only be loans, for the time being.

Galatasary continues to go for leftovers in the PL. This time they have set their aim at Arshavin from Arsenal.
