My theory on the WoT ending.

Forces of Light win, with Rand banding together the with woman Aes Sedai and the Asha'aman to destroy the Dark One.

 

In the final moments of The Dark One's existence, he destroys the One Power. With the One Power gone, and with Mat figuring how how to invent guns and gunpowder, the world transitions into a more 18th century setting.

 

Sorry if there is any spelling mistakes, but i'm just about to go to bed, so i'm sleepy. :)

The True Source is what drives the Wheel. It's saidin and saidar working together. It says so in the big white book. He could destroy access to the True Source, but I highly doubt it, since RJ was thinking about writing stories that took place after the main series. It wouldn't have been so much fun if it'd been without the channeling.

I'm very curious about the world post-TG. For one thing, I think the Whitecloak sentiment will finally overcome the people. Aes Sedai will be "useless", as their purpose has been served, yet I have a feeling they don't want to die out. I can see a long bloody war between Aes Sedai supporters and Whitecloak types. Also, the Seanchan will most likely take over the continent as the main continent people are way too divided.

Not to be a pessimist, but you introduced absolutely nothing new with this theory and did not even give a reason why you think any of it would happen. Also, this is something that atleast 35% of people on this board already believed in and closer to 90% have speculated on.

 

This completely un-detailed 'theory' would be better suited as a post here.

I'm currently fleshing out 2 intertwining theories for the end of the series involving balance between light and the shadow, paradoxes and Min as the creator incarnate (I didn't say it wasn't a crazy theory).

I had the same theory but as noted was the AM are to balance the AS by prophecy.

Me writing up this theory has been postponed until I finish book 12, partly because new info keeps coming up and partly because I'd rather read the book than write :)
