I'm actually not much of a steak person, but if you're going to give me something that's not one step away from being raw, you'd best have made it super tender as opposed to the dry-as-hell thing I usually get. Forks and knives are for wimps, I'll pick that thing up and tear chunks of it off with my teeth.

I understand how you feel about your meat, rey, although I'm too civilized to just pick it up and tear chunks off.

 

I pick up the whole thing on my fork and bite pieces off that way. :D

I'll use a fork in public, but even then I don't dice my meat. I like to get that twisting action in the neck that goes along with tearing your meat. That's where the real strength is in predators, not in the jaws, which need only be able to lock in place, but the neck. That's where the tearing comes from.

 

Also, I look down on people who eat shrimp as a cocktail item without the tails. Not only do I eat them with the tails, I eat crab and lobster with the shell.
