Okay, having just done a reread of the thread (which took maybe 10 minutes, there really hasn't been much activity thus far), I have to say I pretty much second everything Hybrid said:

 

We don't have much to go on Day 1.  No bandwagons really formed, and most of the votes were thrown around randomly.

 

That means we have two options. 

 

1) We can sit on our hands and wait for a Finder investigation.  The mafia would love for us to do this, because with a possible two evil kills per night AND no Healer AND no voting activity, we'd be sitting ducks.

 

2) We can vote now, before it's too late.  True, there's not much to go on.  But it's better than the alternative, because we generate voting patterns and activity.  I'm not suggesting we lynch someone randomly, but the more voting and talking that goes on, the more likely the mafia are to slip up.

 

With that in mind, I'm looking at the people who have posted but said "I don't know who to vote for."  The last thing that we need is mass active lurking.  I'm most inclined to vote Alanna Jr.  The others either said they were busy or are posting suspicions.  Alanna, on the other hand, is giving me a minor "helpful scum" vibe from her post prodding others to be active without actually being active herself.

I know it's really not much to go on at all, but for now, I think Hybrid's reasons for voting [glow=red,2,300]Alannalynn[/glow] are sound enough, and also I thought it was a tad odd that when Hybrid quizzed Ama about her favorite stuffed animal (or whatever), Alanna responded by asking him not to ask HER about her favorite anything.  Nitpicking, yes.  But it did kind of put me in mind of someone with a guilty conscious jumping at shadows, if that makes sense. :D

I understand where you're coming from Meesh, and I'll go ahead and say I'm innocent; the comment about questions at the beginning was just me commenting that I have no favorites because I'm an extremely indecisive person.

I'm not voting for Eldrick or Laine at this stage because i'm not convinced by the case on either.

We ARE on Day 2, right? Why is Amadine spreading votes more? I know I'm on the lynch list, but we need to consolidate a little bit more. I really want to know where StringWinder is an why he isn't posting. If we were going to vote any inactive, it would be him, but I don't want to make this more spread out than it is, especially with 10 players left.

 

And yes, Eldrick, I'm saying I'm innocent, and that will be proven if I'm killed, and being that either Innocent or Mafia will both say that, why be suspicious unless you know the truth? Seems like you don't have much of a case against me, and you're trying to push the lynch my way.

Thank you Amadine. Reading back though, I wouldn't jump at shadows if I were mafia; honestly, isn't the point to stay off everyone's radar? I really would like the true lurkers to come out of the woodwork and make a decision so we can get this going.

The television screen flashed to life again, the Chairman's image filling the screen.  His arms were crossed and he glared at the Chefs, Iron and Challenger alike.  "Two days have passed and still you flounder like fish out of water.  I am a patient man, but my patience is waning.  Prepare for another slumber party in Kitchen Stadium.  Consider carefully your options because another day will not pass without a decision."  The screen returned to black.

 

Day 2 ends with no lynch.  A lynch will be required on Day 3, determined by who has the most votes rather than a majority vote.  It is now Night 2.  Please PM your night actions.  Night 2 will end Tuesday, August 10 at 11pm PST (GMT-7) or when all actions are received.

Sorry for the inactivity.  I didn't really have time to check up on this over the weekend.  My sister came home for the weekend so I was away from the computer for most of the weekend.

So the good news is that we get a definite lynch tomorrow.  Yay!

 

The bad news is that we let another day slip through our fingers.  And yes, I realize that this is partly my fault.

 

However, we did at least get some activity.  Based on that,

- Eldrick: more suspicious.  His reason for voting Alanna Jr. was weak.  Admittedly, my own reason for voting Alanna Jr. was also weak.  But Eldrick's vote felt like he needed a smokescreen to mask a bandwagon and a self-preservation vote.

- Alanna Jr.: less suspicious.  She was encouraging Amadine to consolidate votes when her own head was on the chopping block.  If she was mafia, this move makes zero sense.  The last thing the mafia need is one of their own close to a lynch where any inactive can swoop in at the last minute.

- Amadine: less suspicious.  Her reluctance to vote on weak reasons feels genuine to me.  However, if Alanna Jr. or Eldrick is mafia, then her keeping off either of them takes on a more sinister light.  Likewise, if she is mafia, Alanna Jr. and/or Eldrick starts to look more suspicious.

- CJ, StringWinder, Lia, and Tigraine: one of the mafia is probably among these four both by lack of activity and by the numbers.  But without more to go on, we can't really lynch any of them yet.

 

Oh, and to be clear, I wasn't accusing Alanna Jr. of lurking.  Certainly, she's been more active than most players.  I said "active lurking" which means that you post without really contributing (voting, accusing someone, etc.).  That's what I felt her post asking for people to participate felt like.

i must apologize for my inactivity.  i've been working 8 hour days, and then i tend to forget to get on here.  and now, i'm starting band camp, which is basically 12 hour days with breaks in between  :P

i'll try to contribute more, i just haven't really known what to do or say to help.  but i really am trying  :-\
