The fighting was tearing the building apart. The inquisitor was just too fast and too powerful for the crew to take down. Suddenly the Lord Ruler descended through a hole in the roof and everyone knew that Kelsier and vin had both been killed. As the Inquisitor smiled up at the Lord Ruler, Ham saw his opening. Launching himself at the Inquisitors back, he burned pewter and pulled on the center spike. It came free in a spray of blood and the Inquisitor collapsed bonelessly to the floor.

 

Som1else, Inquisitor, Pewter burner, Anti-town, has been killed.

 

Night 4 has now begun. Deadline Monday afternoon. Have a good weekend!

I was trying to hold off to see if anyone had any idea whether pewter was supposed to be good or bad...I didn't want to lynch him if I could prove he was innocent.  But now i know.

Well considering I had already said that I burned pewter and was ham, and someone else shows as burning pewter then it's pretty reasonable to assume it can be be both but that one of us has to be mafia as I don't think both would be in this game as innocent. The game is too small for that!

That leaves us with Alanna and Tigs. I'm suspicious of Tigs because of what I said above. however she seemed to know that Lia was burning Iron (Lia can you confirm this - you may have already but I forget) Plus she guessed Som1 too - Of course being on the same team could help that. But I think that I will givbe her the benefit of the doubt, especially if she can say her character.

 

That leaves Alanna. Maybe she can tell us who she is?

So that leaves just the four of us left. Tayla has revealed Ham and i have revealed Clubs - both innocent. Alanna and Tigs are left. Tigs has claimed a finder-type ability, so that leaves you Alanna... got anything to say?

That definately narrows it down, I wonder where we will be when day comes!

Well, since we're so close to endgame, I guess revealing will help more than hurt at this point. I'm Spook. I basically have a tracker role, I can see who someone targets with a NA.

 

I was a little suspicious of Talya before, because I thought it was weird that we would have 2 people burning pewter, but, from what I can remember, Inquisitors can burn anything, so it's not that strange. Plus no one has counterclaimed Ham, and I would be surprised if he wasn't in the game.

 

I do think it's strange that Tigs wouldn't vote Som1, and I'm starting to wonder if her confusion with the books/characters hasn't been a little overplayed. Whether you know the books or not, it's unlikely Som1 would be totally unlynchable, because then you wouldn't be able to kill that person, assuming they are mafia (unless there was a vig/sk, which I think we can be pretty sure there isn't).

I sent in Alanna so when my results get back we'll know more about her character. 

 

Som1 being unlynchable could be the product of a few different things, especially with all these mods creating new roles (hugs Pete and Lily)  Not to mention that I don't have any inkling what the book is about and whether or not there is somebody or something in it that could stop a lynch.  This being a fast game, I didn't want to lynch someone that could possibly be innocent.

LOL well I targeted you tonight, so hopefully that will tell us something as well.

The Lord Ruler looked down at the lifeless body of his inquisitor and sighed.

 

"Do you people have any idea how much work is put into making one of those?" he asked the crew.

 

 

Day 5 has begun. Deadline in 48 hours.

[glow=red,2,300]Tigs[/glow] lied. My results said she targeted Talya last night, not me. Which makes sense with the non-death, as Talya burns pewter...

so who did you track every night Alanna. We are left with the Lord Ruler. And in one of Lia's posts she said that Me and Tigs weren't the Lord Ruler. So that leaves either you or Amadine. Amadine doesn't have a night kill. I would say that the Lord ruler has the night kill. the inquisitor had Pewter and that protected him from the lynch, which means he didn't kill.

 

I'm interested to hear what Tigs got about you for what you burn. Of cpourse with everyone revealed you could choose any name in the books, and know that we wouldn't be able to find out if you were lying or not.

Night 1 I didn't send in anyone, I was an idiot and forgot night was only 24 hours long. Night 2 I tracked Amadine, who targeted herself. Night 3 I targeted Som1, who didn't target anyone, looking back, I guess he didn't have a NA. And last night I sent in Tigs.

Okay, I must be missing something, I read thru the thread and I still can't find where Lia said anything about you or Tigs not being LR. How would she know, anyway? Didn't that have something to do with Pete's role?

It did I think and they were on a QT together. I'll see if I can find it again

So privately, Pete and I decided to send in Amadine's name instead of Som1's. Ama doesn't have an nk, since I'm still around.

 

Last night, Pete redirected Som1 to Alanna.

 

The Lord Ruler is not me, Tayla or Tigraine.

 

Tayla and Tigraine could still be Mafia, but they are not the Lord Ruler. Which means that Amadine or Som1 is. Since Ama didn't kill me because I targeted her, I'm guessing it's Som1.

Do y'all think it's possible that only the Lord Ruler has an NK until he's dead and then the remaining Mafia gets it?

 

this is the post, she also said that Me and Amadine didn't have the night kill. As Som1 didn't then that leaves whoever is left, you are Tigs. Lia said that Me and Tigs weren't Lord Ruler which I guess she got from Pete. But that narrows it down even more.

 

However I would like to hear from Tigs first, because there is still suspicion there

Also, just looking at characters here: Aemon doesn't say it anywhere, I think this game is only based on the first book, Mistborn, and not on the whole Mistborn series, because the LR is only the bad guy in the first book (he dies at the end of the first book). And there are actually only a few staple characters in the first book. Looking at the dead characters and role claims we have here, I'd say all the town in this game is probably just Kelsier's crew, which is pretty small.

 

That said, I would find Marsh (who Tigs claimed, I did see that on my read thru, which I'd missed at first) to be the most unlikely to be in this game. Marsh was Kelsier's brother, but he didn't want to be a part of Kelsier's plan, and basically wouldn't help them, from what I remember. He did show up to help Vin at the end, I think, but by then he'd become a Steel Inquisitor himself. He never really used his seeking abilities to help the crew, so I find it odd that Marsh would have that ability in this game. You'd think it would have something more to do with being an Inquisitor.

 

This is all based on my memory of the book, which is sketchy, I will admit ;D

 

EDIT: Ah, okay, I see now. So she must have got it from Pete. How did Pete's ability work again? Did he every say?

Hmm, now I'm really confused about Pete's role. The first thing he says about it is that he know who the LR is not, and then later basically says that it's JLM who he knows isn't the LR. So I would guess he looked at her Night 1.

 

But then, Lia says Night 2, Pete redirected. Which, a redirecting role makes more sense with Vin pushing steel. So, what's with finding the LR? And when did he look at both you (Talya) and Tigs? Obviously he was Vin, so he wasn't lying, but I'm confused. How many night actions did he have?

OMG Alanna, you are such a liar, I targeted you and it say you were burning Atium.  I don't even know if that is good or bad but seeing as how you are plainly a LLL then [glow=red,2,300]Alanna[/glow]

 

I came out and said that I checked you before you came out with your claim.  No matter what, you were gonna lie.  Guys I don't know what Atium is but I do know that Alanna is lying. 

 

My viewings can't be explained off.  It would make sense, if I were scum, that I would know what som1 was burning since he was scum...but how would I know what Lia was burning?  Wouldn't that be a little too much for scum to know? That would throw the game balance completely outta whack.

Nope, not lying, though you seem a little defensive there. I burn tin, not atium, so that's a flat-out lie. Atium was the mysterious metal that no one really know how to burn, I think, but I can't remember what it did. I think Vin figured it out at the end of the book.

 

And scum getting finder-like viewings isn't totally unheard of. I can especially see scum getting a one-shot thing. It would definitely make sense, because the LR could burn all the metals, so he could've used...what was it...bronze?...to get a one-time viewing.

This game is too small in my opinion to have the scum having any extra abilities.  The reason I am so defensive is because everyone's choice now could possibly bring us to end game. 

 

You know about the books and I don't, I am not trying to hide that but that doesn't mean that I am lying because I can't say, "Well this one wouldn't be a character and this one would."

 

I just want everyone to remember what has happened thus far.  I called that Lia was burning Iron, I called that som1 was burning whatever he was burning, and I called what you are burning.  Also look at the fact that I said straight out that I was checking Alanna tonight, then she jumped in and said, "Well how funny, I'm targeting you also."  Not to mention that Lia said that I wasn't LR.  She included me in the possible NK'ers catagory but she did Alanna as well and Alanna wasn't ruled out as LR.  If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...chances are it's a duck.

Well, I disagree about the scum not having extra abilities - I suspect everyone in this game has some kind of ability, due to the allomancy (the burning of the metals), but I apologize for calling you defensive; the stakes are definitely high right now.

 

All I'm saying is that calling what Som1 and I are burning doesn't fly with me, because you would know what Som1 is burning, being on a team with him, and it's not true that I'm burning atium.

 

And I honestly tracked you, and I planned to as soon as Night 4 started. I know there's no way to convince anyone of that, but it really was just bad timing that you announced you were targeting me before I said I was targeting you. As for what Lia said about who and who was not the LR, I don't trust that. I'm not clear on whose ability that was and how it worked, and I think there's something wrong there.
