All right, we know there's another vamp, so I say we re-test those who were tested before people were turned. I think that would be [glow=red,2,300]Amadine[/glow] next with [glow=green,2,300]Cross[/glow].

I dunno.  It's a fair idea, and that would only be Amadine and Lia for now at least, but I think we should start with silver.  Wombat said he tried to recruit Alanna and failed, and she's not a vamp, so: A)she's not recruitable, B) he was lying and successfully recruited her, or C) he was lying and recruited someone else and was trying to help the Lychans win with that post of his by distracting them.

 

So I'm all for silver testing.

 

I'll go either way, depending on what others think, but since we have about an hour and 20 minutes till we'd have to re-test everyone with the cross anyway, and Alanna seems to want to keep things on the cross...

I'm fine with testing me with silver, but I really think we should do cross first. Wombat was Head Lycan; now that he's dead, there won't be anymore new lycans, so we don't need to worry about finding the lycan so soon. But we don't know that Tigs was head vamp, so the remaining vamp could be more of a threat, if they can still turn people.

We tested Aemon with the cross first.  Then we tested Lo13 with the cross.  Then we tested Wombat with silver, then we tested Tigraine with the cross.  Then we went in order down the list from there.

 

Seriously, if there was another vampire in there, you'd think we'd have found it.  We had time for one recruit attempt before we nailed Tigs.  She died before the second recruit time came around.  We have tested every single living person with the cross.  Amadine and Lia can't recruit themselves if they're not vamps to begin with, and they weren't when they tested them.

 

I'm more concerned with the Lychans; we had someone die and that means someone must have killed him.  Perhaps we have a hybrid, perhaps the remaining Lychan received the power to kill because he/she can't recruit, but I seriously think we don't have any vamps left in this game.

I don't get it. We don't know that Tigs was the Head Vamp, right? So how are they not more of a threat, if they can still recruit?

Is it only the heads who can recruit?  My understanding was that if there were one vamp or lychan standing, they could recruit.

OP says once the head lycan/vamp is killed, no new creatures of that kind will be made. But they receive powers, so Meesh could be right about the killing lycan.

So, even if Tigs was Head Vamp, she could’ve turned Lord of 13 in the first round. But no one else could have / would have been turned, once she died.

 

If Tigs wasn’t Head Vamp, then… well, we’ve tested everyone. So she must have been? Am I thinking through this right? I know Tigs was busy IRL, so it certainly stands to reason that she may not have recruited anyone.

 

So, yes. I agree we should test with silver now. Sorry, Meesh, took me a bit to think that through.

Rules:

There is one Head Vampire and one Head Lychan. Each can turn one person every 12 hours. Once a person has been turned to one side or the other they may not be turned again. There is an exception to this but I’ll get to that in a minute. Once the Head Vamp/Lychan is killed no new creatures of that type will be made but new powers MAY be added to the survivors.

What I'm saying is, I would wager almost anything Tigs WAS the head vamp.

 

The order we tested them:

1. Aemon (with cross)--clean (dead now)

2. Lo13 (with cross)--clean

--First recruiting opportunity--

3. Wombat (with silver)--Head Lychan (dead)

4. Tigraine (with cross)--Vamp (I think Head, dead at any rate)

5. Amadine (with cross)--Clean

6. Lia (with cross)--clean

--Second Recruit opportunity, Aemon dies--

7. Alanna (with cross)--clean

8. Pookie (cross)--clean

9. Meesh (cross)--clean

10. Talya (cross)--clean

 

So, my point--after Tigs died, no one tested positive as a Vampire. The only person alive now who was tested before Tigs was is Lo13, and Tigs died after only one opportunity for anyone to have been recruited.  So, if you insist there is a vampire, test Lo13.  But he didn't test vampire before, so he can't be the head.

 

Logically, Tigs had to have been the head vampire.

Interesting... looks like the lycan found Meesh's theory all-too accurate. However, since only one person died, that means that the Head is still alive - unless both parties decided to slay the same person. I vote [glow=red,2,300]Alanna[/glow] with [glow=green,2,300]Silver[/glow].

How do you mean? Tigs must have been the Head Vamp, and Wombat basically admitted to being Head Lycan. The last lycan must be the only one out there left.

I suppose he could have been, to protect the head lycan. Either way, there are no vamps left, head or recruit, so there's no reason to believe there should be more than one kill. And it was never guaranteed that any recruits get a kill once their head dies, anyway. It's just a working theory, for now.

Actually, the fact that Lord 13 was checked before both the lychen werewolf was discovered and the vamp, suggests that he could easily have been converted to either. We are only assuming that Wombat and Tigs were the head ones. If was after a turning. Though unlikely as they would have been the next ones to be tested. Aemon we know wasn't turned.

 

We should check Lord for both and then run thorough it all again as soon as possible.

Thanks for pointing out that bit in the OP.  :)  I seem to be having some issues with my marbles, or lack thereof.  

 

Just to give that echo effect, I think 1) Tigs was the head, 2) due to RL she was probably unable to recruit so was the only vamp, 3) we are left with one lychan with a kill.  

 

There were 2 votes for Wombat with silver when the first recruit happened.  That'd make him a poor choice for recruiting, in my opinion, but not impossible.  I double checked his "vote" for the mod and it happened after the recruit window.  

 

I also looked at who directed the vote after Wombat died and that was Lia, so it's possible that she was either the recruitee or recruiter, but I'm sure she's not the only one who would have chosen that combo for the next test since she was following the list.  I tend to believe Wombat's claim that he tried a recruit, but don't think he tried Alanna.

 

Edit:  That's 4.  I do want to check Lia, but looks to me like Lord is trying to steer us back to the cross.
