Lavinya, I'm willing to reveal the "XXXXX" players to potentially aid you in your search, but won't do that tonight unless you request it.  Based on the couple of players you know, and the fact that the night 2 and 6 people are potentially roleless, could make up a decent voting block.

 

Sorry, Verbal. My bad. I was looking at the xxx. I have a sick mind. Anyway, it's nights 3 and 5. That looks even worse for you, as DPR didn't come in until Day 6. I can see no reason why Kivam would tell you the same thing in two different ways. I am not at all convinced by your claim. I believe you are inventing the entire thing to save your butt. I have no idea, I'm gonna have to re-read when I get home from work, dont have time for it now. Also my vote on me is annoying, but I doubt it's got anything to do with Pete, tho that was my first thought. Verbal is my prime suspect right now. he worked hard on getting Alys lynched, but I dont understand why he would do that, if he wasnt sure, dont he know that he'd just get lynched? It doesnt add up imo. Or maybe he just thought it was a sacrifice it was ok to make, which makes the remaining cultists more than one, since its ok to lose one, even this late in the game. Blah, I dunno. but Im gonna put a vote on [glow=red,2,300]Verbal[/glow] anyways, cause I Think he's the most likely cultist, and in case I wont be able to get on here today after all.

Why is everyone rushing to vote when there is no deadline?  We should be getting all information out now and then making the decision.

Again, why would he recieve a differently worded PM for Alys' no action instead of the same ones he got for the others. I still say it stinks and will vote him again unless convinced otherwise.

Thank you for unvoting aemon.  To reiterate: I am not making any claims about Verbal's alignment merely that 1 part of his claim holds true.  There's a reason why I wanted an unvote which I will show you in my next post.  I had the information last night, but didn't post because I thought I would wait until I was more wide awake so I could think about what I wanted to say.  If I had posted it last night then there would have been no connection with Verbal.  It was this post of Verbal's that has truth (or extremely good luck) in it:

So here's some important information for us to ponder.  (Sorry for the wall of text...surely we're allowed one each?  ;D)

 

We have heard several times this game about the 3 relics that need to be combined.  I now have such a set in my possession and can talk about them because now that I have the information written on the 3 Shards they serve no purpose.  I've been on pins and needles for the last 24 hours or so to see if I could unite the set.  Tigs told us she had 2/3 of the set so I immediately put in a steal play on her.  I also decided that since I was the only one to respond to her hint that she might try to steal mine (and at the time I was willing to risk giving her my Shard) so I posted after one of her posts (hoping that the killers might target someone else of importance) and then she immediately replied giving me a successful steal.  As it turns out she died so the steal play was nullified.  Fortunately I was notified by PM at the start of day 9 that the steal play failed because she died so I sent back a reply to loot her of her relics.  Since no one else asked for them within 5 hours of me asking I got both of her Shards.  (pandy stared out with a Shard which I inherited.)

 

But enough preamble...the Shards did not contain the information that I hoped (the identity of the Vessel) but there is some important information on them anyway.  They talk about a member of the Great Race who is among/in us (yet not).  As someone already suggested the Great Race swaps minds and in so doing they CONTROL THAT PERSONS VOTE.  This can only happen every third night, say nights 1, 4 and 7 and I think it lasts through the end of the following day.  The catch is if they die while mindwalking they remain in control of their victim's mind and vote.  This Great Race person is a Survivor.

 

Pete, the Survivor and member of the Great Race happened to die night 7 and on day 8 and 9 Danya's vote has been controlled.  But what to do about this info?  If he has a normal Survivor win condition he gets a solo win along with the winning team, but then he doesn't seem to be a normal Survivor...

 

I also delayed posting this because I thought it could make Danya a target, but I think the need for information is very important at this stage of the game.  Plus Verbal's information could make her a target for a lynch if he turns up innocent anyway.

TL;DR - Pete is still in the game in some way and in control of at least one of Danya's votes.  Since Danya never voted on Day 8 I don't know if she can still cast her other vote.  Also, her day 9 vote hasn't been tallied by a Mod.

Interesting information. I tend to believe you because if you weren't telling the truth, Kivam would strike you dead on the spot for talking about stealing artifacts, what they are and information recieved from them. The question is: what do we do now? If Pete is in the game and we kill the last of the mafia, does Pete win and Town lose? Do we both win?

 

On a side note, Pookie said that Anox was the vessel. That seems odd. Maybe it was just a fluke of random.org, but having the vessel as a mafia member negates the second win condition immediately. Makes me wonder about the accuracy of the viewing.

aah, that makes sense, sort of. Thanks for that Jeran. About Pete tho, I dont really understand how he can be the one controlling my extra vote. I see the reasoning behind him being the controller of my vote on the day 8, but NOT today, which makes me suspect that someone had a successful thiefplay that night.

 

But this still doesnt make Verbal all that less suspicious than I was, ref. to above mentioned thiefplay. I think I'm gonna hold my vote exactly where it is right now. Mafia telling truths and halftruths arent exactly unheard of.

This is why I have requested an official vote count to see if your vote registers.  If you believe the current "Danya" vote is the result of a relic then maybe your other vote is controllable by Pete.  Or maybe due to a stunning coincidence it just looks like Pete has control of your vote.

 

I'm also wanting to hear what more Verbal has to say and whether Lavinya is going to release her innocent findings.  I still say there is no rush to be voting in the absence of a deadline.

 

I also don't really want to focus on just Verbal.  We have had other days that were a speed lynch on confirmed scum and nothing else was found out.  For example, I am really wondering about Hybrid who has been sliding smoothly along.  Also Pookie...she kind of gives the impression of innocence but PRs can be faked or given to mafia people.  Announcing the Vessel is dead also could be designed to add a lustre of innocence.

Who said he was immortal?  It was pretty chancy that he would still be inhabiting a person's mind in the first place.  He had to be night killed during the night he entered the person or lynched the following day.  He was only able to enter the person's mind every third night.  And if you were to die then he will be gone too. 

 

Also see the vote count for strange voting shenanigans.  I'm going to have to look at all the votes cast to try and figure it out.

So here's how I think the vote count should be if there were no voting irregularities:

So what I see we have in the actual count is:

 

* an extra vote from Danya that she thinks is due to a relic

* Lavinya's vote doesn't count

* either an invisible vote on Verbal OR Nae is writing Danya's 2 votes using 1 name rather than writing Danya twice

Ok, so maybe immortal was the wrong word to use, but he would definately have to have some sort of power to make his actions last after he died. Also, if all he did was place my second vote on me, when I think about it, it doesnt harm us that much, because I still have my regular vote, which makes me just a regular one-vote player. As it stands right now, I dont really think of it as the biggest issue in the game.

 

Also, I think your last point, that Nae didnt write my name twice, is wrong, whenever I've cast two votes, my name's been written twice, I doubt anything would change now. But Idont mind having Nae confirm this. If I had two votes on Verbal, and one on myself,that would give me three votes, and I only have two (well, one now) that I know of.

Since you don't believe what I am telling you, by all means steal the relics and read the message for yourself.  I don't need them anymore and Kiv said a thief would get the same message.  If you wait until I die they may be split up.

Danya - I should have said that I was worried this morning because I thought Verbal was at L-1, so a vote controller could just slip in and end the day like in day 8.  This would have reduced the opportunity for discussion about what is going on. 

 

Now that Verb is at L-2 I am less worried so your point about the controlled vote being less of a threat is well taken.  (But still slightly worried  ;))
