The Halloween Costume Ball!

Loraine sweeps in, her many-layered skirts brushing the ground and a big grin on her face. She'd nabbed all the decorations and recipes from around the campus classes and ordered the Hall decorated to suit them all. Finally, it was time to throw open the doors and start the party!

 

Come one, come all!

Be ye short or tall!

This party be not small!

It takes up the whole Hall!

Great!  I wasn't paying attention and now I need a costume?  I haven't thought of anything at all, even to wear to work.

I've got nothin' this year though.  Not sure if I'll bother, since we don't have any plans.  (Hubby isn't as into Halloween and costumes like I am, so for the past few years it just hasn't happened.) :(

I know the feeling, Mirsh! Mine will learn one day, so perhaps they can learn together!

 

(ps, that's not actually the costume I'm wearing this year. Considering that it's Wednesday and I haven't attacked the costume I bought with extra fabric and my sewing machine, yet, I probably won't be wearing one, either. *grumbles, mutters and kicks a can*)

As you can see I am dressed as a wonderful red headed drow queen. Almost looks as good as Mirsh over there. **Grin**

 

Most years I just put on some devil horns or something along that lines. My Halloweens are all about trick-or-treating now. No partying.  ::)

So for costumes past I have just used the picture from the haunted house. I have some others but no time to scan them in. lol

Sometimes I wish, Mirsh, but no, I'm all the way on the East Coast just North of Florida and South of South Carolina.

 

I'm all for ditching my husband, though. I'm going to take Peanut to the mall, though. And I'm thinking about taking her to a nature preserve here that's doing a "Hoots and Howls" festival. *smiles* Fun, huh?

Very little chance I'll have an actual costume.  So...

 

A long, silver floaty evening gown, scattered with moons and stars and symbols of the Mother.  Silver moonstones in my hair and ears and around my neck.  I'm a witch, might as well dress as one. 

 

Works dress up - jeans, of course.  All my clothes are witch's clothes. ;D

Mirsh..I'm in Oklahoma..which you know...close but not close enough..my Bill doesn't do costumes or even Halloween hardly.  ONly because of me does he even watch Hocus Pocus! LOL

 

I think we should just kidnap lor to here..*nods* and do Halloween up right!

 

I of course have no  costume..the reason I have sent svenny to the ball and not me...

I did put Svenny in a costume!  LOL  Isn't that a gorgeous dog!?  We found him at Petfinders..he is half lab and half boxer!  and the goofiest face!  LOL No we didn't adopt him..my bill wants a full blooded lab puppy! I would almost bet we have one by tommorrow night too!
