Hey, had an account here around 04.  New account, with the news of the release date and I reread the series last month.

Dragonmount's awesome... It has something for everyone.  So, if you're really interested in RP games, then here's a good place for you!  If you want to chill out and hang with people who love the books too, then the Org side is where you want to go!

I've RPed on other sites under other topics, might be interested in that.

 

 

Favorite book?  Its a tie between FoH/SR/KoD.

 

I noticed that even though it would probably take the full 13 to take Rand, once he was shielded it took only 6 (I think thats right).  I had noticed this before, but never made the connection that it takes less to hold someone than it does to initially take them.

 

I came to Dragonmount because I had finished Winters Heart and wanted to talk about it.  Not only that, but I was in a computer class at the time (high school) and was bored most of the day.

 

I came back because I wanted to see the news, and the boards caught my attention again.

 

 

Favorite color is green.  :D

Good observation, on the shielding thing you noticed.  I guess I hadn't really thought about it that way either, even though I knew that it took less to maintain the shield than to originally make it.  It was just one of those things that I never THOUGHT about.... :)

 

I'm reading the books for the 3rd time now, and I'm on tDR now.  Something I noticed that maybe you may have?

In the letter Elayne sent to her mother, what if she had said that she wasn't acting on the Amyrlin's orders?  What if she had said something about an important mission, that she had to leave on, and that it wasn't really tied to the Amyrlin?  Would Gawyn and Galad have helped Elaida?  Would the Tower Split have been as successful?

I know that Elayne had no idea that that was going to happen, it just crossed my mind that saying she was going off on the Amyrlin's orders probably didn't soothe her mom any. :D
