Wait a minute, the chances that Mynd is a dirty cop or a SK are just as large as those for Hybrid. Moreover, more people have been suspicious of Mynd then Hybrid. So why are we not viewing Mynd especially as he had originally volunteered to be lynched if was wrong on Tayla's lynch?

I have a feeling Catina is mafia then. You most likely get opposite answers hybrid. But who knows..... Its really confusing with theese viewings. And the only thing the poll has resulted in is outing Danya as innosent, and lynching an innosent... So.. Next person to go up for the poll.. Be really sure. Not almost sure like Hybrid.

Well, I will say this....I am positive that I am a crazy cop.  I have already chosen someone to view and based on that result, I can be sure of their innocence or guilt.  If it comes back with the reading that I suspect, I think we will have our next (and maybe final) mafia!

If you are nominating yourself for the finder ballot please let us know as much as you can within the rules (i.e. your sanity and the fact that you are certain you have a guilty verdict, but no names or results) in your nomination post.  If there is more than one nominee then we can make a reasonably informed decision.  Also lets make sure we don't rush to vote the finder until we are reasonably sure that everyone has a chance to nominate themselves. This is not intendend as a criticism of anyone because I feel that I am guilty of rushing.  Perhaps if we had waited a bit on Day 3 then Liathiana would have had a chance to nominate herself and we'd have a different game now.  If only my normal vision was as good as my hindsight vision.  ;)

Well, actually on Day 3, Hybrid was the only one who claimed to have a helpful view.  Even Liathiana admitted to not having a view that benefited us.  Hybrid could have been lying, but I think the reluctance for the rest of us to nominate ourselves hurt us in the end.  I will say though that I now know what kind of cop I am so my viewing should be sound (or the opposite of sound).  If I get a reading that leads me to believe someone is mafia, then I will be nominating myself. 

 

But who I chose to view will have to remain a secret until then.

Detective Benjamin Harry Rash had been part of the Department for nearly six years now.  He smiled to himself.  All the cold cases about the Devil’s Duck Serial Killer greatly amused him.  As it should, for he was the serial killer.  He had changed his M.O. as of late.  It was good to change it up every five years.  His next victim would be blamed on the Mafia, just like the last.  He opened the door and entered the office of Major Herman P. Brant.  Brant looked up, startled, and that was all the time Rash needed.  Flicking his wrist he was rewarded with the sight of the knife sticking out of the Majors throat.  Too easy.

 

He left the corpse and headed for the locker room.  He ran into Captain Rita Charles on the way.  “Howdy, Captain.  Calm night?”  She nodded, smiling, as he passed her.  He felt a sudden chill in his spine.  Then he felt her hands on his head.  The last thing he heard was the snapping of his neck.

The Chief of Police, Craig K. Wingo, had taken a beating from the previous days.  His face was gaunt and what was left of his hair was askew, as if he had been brushing his hands through it too much.  He had a feeling in his gut that tonight was the night.  His night.  They were coming for him.  Well, he was ready.

 

He lit a cigarette.  At this point, what did his health really matter?  Checking his guns in his chest-holsters, he made sure the safety guard was unlocked.  He made sure they were fully loaded.  Then he waited.  He didn’t have to wait long.  Two people came into his office, eyeing each other.  It was Officer Edith Brabble and Sergeant Richard Vennari.  Vennari was a surprise, but Wingo guessed that, that was the point.

 

“Alright, Officer, you can leave now.  I need a moment with the Chief.”  Vennari looked like he hadn’t received much from the sleep fairy.  But a guilty conscience would do that.

 

“I have a matter of importance to discuss with the Chief, Sergeant.”  Brabble shot back.  That was another surprise.  Were they not working together?  Ah, but of course.  It was all a ploy to get him off is guard.  He wasn’t falling for it.

 

Vennari smiled.  “Very well then, stay.  I have nothing to hide.”  He pulled out his handgun and pointed it at Wingo. Brabble did the same at the same moment.  They eyed each other suspiciously.  Or so they want me to think. 

 

Chief Wingo stood up, drawing the others eyes.  “I know what you’re here for, but I won’t give you the satisfaction of taking me out like a wounded horse!”  He drew his guns, extremely fast for his age.  Brabble pulled the trigger slightly before Vennari.  The bullets hit Wingo and his fingers closed on the triggers on his own guns.

 

Wingo collapsed in his chair, letting out one last gasp of air.  Officer Brabble lay crumpled on the floor, a bullet hole in her head.  Sergeant Vennari lay on the ground as well, his hand clutching his chest where the bullet entered.  Pushing himself across the floor, he propped himself up against the wall.

 

“I’m sorry, brother…I failed.”  His head fell forward and hung limp.

Roused by the gunshots, the three remaining members of the Department filed into the room.  Lieutenant Carol T. Yetter, Inspector Ricardo Lieberman, and Captian Rita Charles.  After they realized what had happened, two of them smiled.  The third was confused and did not understand the peril he was in.  He never heard the gunfire as the bullet entered his heart.

 

Yetter and Charles shook hands on a job well done.

 

Thorum, AKA, Ricardo Lieberman, has been Killed by default!!!

So... I am sorry guys for helping losing this game.

I lost my first viewing, and was therfore pretty useless to us.

I killed MCS on night two (I was Vig), wich I guss was helpful. But I fell in on the trusting side of Mynd and Hybrid. I almost went for mynd this last night, but I didnt really feel it, and since I trusted Hybrid, I felt Catina had to be evil...

Oh, mcs was evil because I was healer, and it was combined differently with the cop-role :D

 

I'm still wondering why everyone followed mynd's idea about who to lynch for two days in a row ... Especially since they really didn't make much sense.

I went with the Talya lynch just to get a lynch. It didnt look like we would get a majority on MCS. (and then I killed him afterwards...)

Detective Hybrid Rizzo offered Detective Mynd McTavish one of his imported Cuban cigars.  "Did you hear? Those keystone cops went after Catina last night...ended up a dang Mexican standoff."  

 

Mynd smiled and took one of the Cubans, sniffing it before biting off the end.  "Shame about Cuba," replied the grinning Dirty Cop, "sure he was a Mafia Kingpin, but he was still a nice guy."  

 

Hybrid chuckled as he made his way over to the mini-bar, stepping over the cold, dead body that once belonged to Detective Thorum.  "Well, we have big plans now," he chuckled, "we'll have to see who replaces Cuba as the head of the cartel.  The Panamanians are gonna want to know that its still business as usual.  Somebody's gotta become the new Boss!"

 

Mynd shook his head, and then smiled back at Hybrid, "Say Hybrid....ever been to Miami?"

The original Mafia was Barm, Cuba, Hybrid, and myself with Cuba having the option to recruit one more cop to our side.  We chose to go with MCS on Night 1, which was fine because Barm needed to quit.  Cuba, MCS, and I ran as heat shields while Hybrid remained in the shadows.  Cuba, MCS, and I would continue to argue against each other making the other person look scummish.  We wanted to make it so no one could possibly believe that Cuba and I were on the same team.

 

Cosmic was a serial killer that we placed our NK on last night. 

 

When no one else came forward with a viewing, we decided it was time for Hybrid to come out of the shadows.  Quite a gamble, but we figured with a vigilante and a serial killer out there possibly, we could win spectacularly or die trying.  I was cracking up at Thorum's post about how we lynched Talya and then I act like nothing happened.  I'm not even sure that there were Paranoid or Naive cops in this game, but as long as it was a possibility in you all's minds, then we figured we could leave some doubt if you viewed one of us as scum.

This, I think, was a game the mafia should win every time. Catina had the only real finder abilyti. So it really came down to gut of the Vigs. We had had to kill them off. cause we would all ned to have one a $&"" of a job to figure out what finders we were...

 

that we survived this long, actually just came to Barm throwing in the towel early, and me killimg MCS. So who other used their vig roles, and to what effect?
