The Love and Sins of the February Kin!

The second month of the year has arrived,

Holidays and New Year’s have passed us by!

February is filled with fun things to do,

Brought by the Elegant Eldest and Twinnie to you!

 

We’ll be sending candy hearts and asking if you’ll be mine,

Which Kinster will be your secret sweetheart Valentine?

No money to send mail by snail?

Take heart, don’t weep or wail!

Your love and wishes can still be sent,

With e-cards that cost not a single cent!

 

We’ll make a visit to the Shining Walls,

To join and help when we hear their calls.

Of the homeless and their need of shelter,

We’ll jump right in and never falter,

A service project in the Tower Org at DM,

They’ll be saying the Kin are Awesome!

 

Ever wanted to find a new book?

Then you’ll want to give the Reading Journal a look!

In the Knitting Circle you’ll find this thread,

Sharing brief thoughts about the books you’ve read!

Don’t give us a spoiler, just a little teaser

The author, title, genre to explore at our leisure!

 

You’ll be invited to prepare a feast,

Of the seven sins that feed the Beast!

A contest between the Sashes and one of them wins

Creating a menu of the Seven Deadly Sins!

There is also a chance for one Kinster to shine,

Presenting a lusty dessert oh so divine!

 

We may talk about polar bears and bottled water,

And are sure to see more pics of Lor’s lovely daughter!

I’m also sure we’ll spend some time ranting and sharing our joys,

Even tell fairytales and sharing tips for flirting with boys!
