Verbal, I did point out before this whole incident that if I was mod, I wouldn't end it until the night phase is over, because with our NK and heal, we still have a chance even if the numbers are even today.  I don't know how Barm's going to handle it, though, so we'll see.

 

Our win condition is to equal or outnumber the innocents.  If Barm decides to honor the majority on Tigara, then we (mafia) equal the innocent, and therefore win.  If not, and that is certainly at Barm's discretion, then we lose.  Either way, like I said in my previous post, great game everybody.  I had a lot of fun.

 

Actually, it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular. You know, several other people in this game at odd times have made similar remarks, why pick on me?

However, to answer your question, yes I am assuming that today you are "hanging" over a mafia game, and today, that means you had nothing better to do, so where am I wrong? If that is crap or you read something else into it, well, so sorry for you.

I wasn't picking on you.  I was online for a bit this afternoon, but I certainly wasn't hanging over the game.  I'm currently in 3 other mafia games, so I've just been popping around.  During the game, I don't take anything personal - it's only a game, right?  But your remark struck me as rude.

 

As to where you were wrong, it is here:

I have a life, thank you very much.  I don't think it was a polite thing to say, that's all.  I like you and I think you're funny (I've posted with you plenty in the WT), but I just didn't think that post was proper.  My apologies if you think I'm attacking you and nobody else.  If it was Mynd that had posted that, I'd be saying the same thing to him.  But it's water under the bridge, so I'm dropping it.

And then again, maybe the game continues because Mynd really is an assassin. Maybe the innocents have lost, maybe not, but even so, the struggle continues. Who will be the next NK? Who will be assassinated? Does Hybrid get to protect or do the Evils get to kill Mynd? Where is Danya? Has Mynd deceived us after all?  Barm's posted rules at the beginning said nothing about cutting anything short, only extending them. So circle the wagons, pilgrims! 

 

*sighs* Verb, my friends and I tease one another about having a life/not having a life all the time, on-line and off, and none of us takes offense. It's kind of a running joke that I have no 'life' outside of my kids and work, meaning that I do nothing else, which is ridiculous (I do lots of other stuff), hence funny. So, implying that you all have no life outside of Mafia, also a ridiculous claim, also should have been at least mildly amusing. If it's a serious slur where you are, then I do apologize. That was not my intention at all. I try never to be deliberately rude to anyone, especially sweet young things that like to post at the WT.  ;)

 

Alas, Mynd, the little gray cells are not as numerous as they once were. Hence the confusion and the misremembered actions.

For the record, next time don't assume anything, ask me how its done. When I do vote counts I take things how they stand when my vote count is done. If a majority is reached and then somebody unvotes while I'm gone, and there is no longer a majority, then the game continues until I catch a majority or the deadline is reached.

 

And Lor, I should modkill you for calling me fat. :P

 

So, Hybrids vote didn't count, because he used the wrong colour. Have fun, I'll be back tomorrow sometime.

Ok, Hybrid's vote did not count again because it needed to be green.  Danya's did however and so did Verbal's unvote, but not his vote.  The color alteration needs to occur in separate posts.  The next vote color should be green.  Right now, Verbal still holds the majority going into the deadline.  Going into the night, if we get lucky with the healing and I pick off either Danya or Cosmic, then all we have to do is lynch the appropriate person the following day and we win.  ;D

The unvote counts as a color, right?  We can not unvote in green and then vote in green again. If we unvote in green, we must then vote in red. The next unvote is green, and so on. Right?

 

So Danya unvote counts, but not her vote. Verb's unvote counts, as does his vote.  Right?
