WOT Game

I think that the only way besides a book that the series can be given its due credit would be a game. I know there was an older game made in the WOT universe, but not a very good one. The type of game i'd like to see would be like an RPG like Final Fantasy or a MMO, that would be a lot like Dark and Light, except actually being good. Huge world, big battles, immersive world, ect. It could follow the books too. If it was an MMO it could start back in the Aeil wars and continue through to the end.

If they do it as an MMO I believe they should follow the WOW modle to a degree. They should have the players all playing for factions of the light, Aiel, West Landers, Seanchan. Fighting against each other, and against the Shadow.

There will prolly still be trolloc's/fades/darkfriends about after TG, so an MMORPG set directly after TG 8)

MMORPG sounds like a nice idea, but how about an Elder Scrolls type of thing? I know I might write a book about a dream I had that the ultimate singe-player RPG had been created (by me) and it was madness... quite an intriguing story was created.

 

I have ideas for an Action/Adventure game, but most people think it's too linear... still, it's pretty much the only way you'll get to play as the main characters from the actual book.

well there actually is already a game based on the book s you play as a aes sedai that cant channel much who uses various ter'angreal to use lightning and fireballs and such.

You thought that was good? Looked like like a piece of shit to me... ter'angreal and angreal required to channel AT ALL? Didn't play it, though. Besides, that's not a real character that EXISTS in the books, it's just an Aes Sedai. I'm saying an action/adventure game would be cool because you could play as Rand and Mat and Perrin, etc. I still support the Elder Scrolls idea, though. Wasn't there someone on the old boards who said there was a mod for Oblivion in the works?

dont bother with that game... it seriously is a joke. It isn't worth 1$ ....unless of course you want to give RJ some pennies in royalties then go ahead. But then after buying it, toss it.. it is a COMPLETE waste of time and is a joke. Thats why i didn't bother mentioning it :lol:

...ok i know it wasnt good, i posted it cause its the only WoT game in existance (to my knowlege) without having to mod an unrelated game, and yea ive seen it played a veritable dogs breakfast, but a good mmo would be nice.. one day maybe someone with the skills for that will try.
