Oops.  Meant Night 2.  I'm not used to starting in night phase.

 

I'm thinking of voting for Dragon today.  Jelly got an evil read on him, so let's see if she was right.  However, my vote is open to discussion, since we don't have a whole lot of lynches to nab a mafia.

You're right, everybody revealing early in the game is no help to the mafia at all.  ;D  ;)

I have  a feeling I am gone....so you guys just remember who voted for me.

My only power is to reverse tha action of a night kill. If I target somebody who is doing a NK, it will come back on them. Again I am not a finder and am still not buying into all that nonsense. We already have one false finder reveal admitted.

I agree with Danya in that we need to judge NOT based on characters.  Hybrid, she pointed out you were suspicious by stating you were "going along with the herd".  That is the same as vote bandwagoning.  I did not reveal because of the herd - I revealed because I seem to have a different Finder ability in that I get role, NOT alignment.  I think everybody else seems to get alignment.  Therefore, we should work together here.

 

And one more thing Hybrid - you seem to be the only person that has an additional ability.....what's up with that?  Why didn't you tell us while "going along with the herd"?

Well, I misread it originally.  Initially, I thought that whoever viewed me would also get a viewing of the person I was viewing at the time.  But, I realized that I'd misinterpreted the wording.  So if I view an innocent, I'll come up innocent, and if I view an evil, I'll come up evil (I think).

 

Regarding claiming, I did claim at a suspicious time.  On the other hand, once everyone was putting it out, I felt I had to help everyone out.  I did hint at it way back when Catina contested Jelly's claim, if you remember (right after Tigara did).  Also, Rorsharch is a pretty major character, so odds are that he is in this game.  If I'm lying, who's the real Rorsharch?

"Not me," replied Catina, emerging from the shadowy corner, "and I can see that you are still around."

 

"Maybe the Healer got lucky," said Krugster, stroking his chin, "or maybe there is no healer! Maybe the killers have a 50/50 chance of success!"

 

"And how would you know this?" barked Danya as she floated in from the balcony. "You have something to say?"

 

"No need," sneered Verbal, "I think we all know what's really going on here....time to put the cards on the table!"  Each of the players eye each other suspiciously.....will there be a clinched lynch? 

 

No players died during Night 3 and there was great rejoycing.

verbal it is interesting that you got more info now that dragon who was mafia died.  is there some connection here? if they didnt view you as innocent then i would have my doubts but isnt it kinda funny that everyone has been viewed as innocent?

In that case, somebody should view Krugster, Hybrid, and myself tonight.  But make sure the person who views is different than who viewed them first, with the exeption of Hybrid who wasn't viewed yet.

 

In other words, I viewed Krugster and got "Finder", but not necessarily innocent.  So somebody needs to view him.  And somebody other than Hybrid should also view me, to ensure Hybrid's viewing is fine.

 

For me, I'll pick somebody totally different and see if I get only role, or role AND alignment again.  As both Hybrid AND Tigara got an innocent view on Danya, I'll view her tonight and see what happens.

Vice President Joe Biden held a press conference today heralding President Barack Obama's State of the Nation Speech tomorrow on Day 5.  "The time is now to bring these rebels to justice," cried the Vice President.  "Senator McCain and his cronies are trying to make these criminals look like saints.   Already we have two votes against one of them...."  With that, Vice President Biden held up an envelope with an illegible name written on it.

Day 4 Conclusion.....

 

Vice President Joe Biden boards Air Force 2 at JFK international airport, and sits comfortably in his chair.  The flight attendant asks if he would like anything to drink.  "Scotch," he growls, "make it a double!"  The buxom flight attendant smiles and nods before disappearing behind the curtain. 

 

"You're doing the right thing, Mister Vice President," soothed Secretary of State Damon de Luca, stroking his white mustaches, "its for the greater good."

 

"So many people," Biden sighs, "they have no idea the tragedy that is in store for them."  As the plane begins to taxi to the runway, Biden stares out the window at the sunset.  "So many innocent lives will be snuffed out tomorrow."

 

The Secretary of State arches an eyebrow and then leans forward."You're not having second thoughts, are you?" sneered de Luca, "With all due respect, there really is no turning back now, Joe."

 

Biden sighs and then tilts his head and smirks, "nobody is turning back, Damon.  It's what must be done.  Tomorrow, after all the chaos settles, I'll be sworn in as President and we can begin moving forward with our NEW WORLD ORDER."

Just before de Luca can respond, the flight attendant emerges from the curtain with two glasses filled with scotch.  She hands one to Biden with a napkin and the other to de Luca.  Biden smiles at her just before dismissing her to the attendnat's quarters.  As deluca raises his glass, he smiles at Biden and whispers "To the Greater Good!"

 

Biden pauses for a moment, gazing at the drink in his hand, and then a very sinister smile washes over his face, "Yes, to the Greater Good!"  The plane takes off not long after they finish their drinks, bound for the safest place in the world to be after time runs out.

 

MEANWHILE....

 

"I got a baaaad feeling about all this," growls Hybrid, "something is just not right about this game."

 

"Yeah," says Catina, "I mean, how come if we miss a deadline, no one dies?  Isn't this supposed to be Super Fast Mafia?"

 

"I get that feeling too," says Danya, "it is as if we are near Endgame or something."

 

"That's ridiculous!" snaps Krugster, "I mean, come on!  There are still 6 of us left!  There can't be more than one or two mafia left!"

 

"Yeah," replies Verbal, stroking his chin, "but if we are all read as innocent, how come the game is still going on?"

 

"Well, I am with you all on this," says Tigara, emerging from the shadows, "I feel like we are very close to endgame......we are just missing something.  Something is right under our noses and we just can't see it!"

 

"Maybe if we just step back," offers Verbal, "you know, step back and look at the big picture....maybe there is a pattern that we have all missed here."

 

"Kinda like not being able to see the forrest for the trees?" asks Catina, tugging on her long braid of hair with a scowl.

 

"I don't know guys," sighs Krugster, "I've read every friggen post, looked for every friggen clue, maybe Mynd is just messing with us.  Maybe there is no more mafia and we are just supposed to kill each other?"

 

"No," snaps Danya, "all of our PMs said that we win when all the non-innocents are removed from the game!  So that means...."

 

"One of us," growls Hybrid, "ain't innocent!" 

 

No player is lynched due to no majority being reached.  It is now Night 4.

Standing at the bulletproof window, gazing over the New York Landscape, President Barack Obama sighs and then turns to his aide.  "I'll be right there," he replies, "just give me a minute."  In his hand, another disturbing letter from this mysterious "Watchmaker" but this time, the terrorist signed it differently.  Obama takes a moment and reads the letter once more...

 

Mr. President,

 

I must say that I am deeply disappointed that you have failed to respond properly to my earlier suggestions.  I wish we had more time to negotiate; however, you must understand the impact this act will have on the greater good. The Masks are not criminals, we are upstanding citizens doing what is right, who can go beyond where the government cannot.  Your administration should be working with us....not against us.

 

I urge you to reconsider your words today in New York City.  I cannot be responsible for the consequences of your misjudgement.  Of this, I wash my hands.  Take care in your address today, we will be watching....we always are.

"Don't worry sir," growls Barnes, Chief of Secret Service "we've got the whole friggen place boxed in.  Ain't nobody gonna pass gas without us knowin about it."

 

"Mr. President," says another aide, "you don't have to go through with this.  If there is a legitimate terrorist threat...."

 

"We do not negotiate with terrorists," barks Barack, "I took this job knowing the risks and Barnes here assures me that security is tight...."

 

"...tight as a...." Barnes hesitates and after considering the female staff members present, he changes what he was about to say, "...tight as a drum, sir." 

 

"I will not be intimidated by these Masks," declares Obama, "this is exactly what I am talking about.  They are criminals, vigilantes, and now terrorists.  I will not give them what they seek....I will not validate what they do." With that, Obama crumbles up the letter and tosses it to the ground....where one of the aides quickly picks it up and begins flattening it out.  "This is still OUR country, dangit!"

Three thousand miles away, Air Force 2 lands on a private runway on a seculded island in a remote part of the Pacific Ocean.  As the plane comes to a hault, Vice President Joe Biden exits the plane and is greeted by the author of the letter received.  The two shake hands and then head into the massive castle built into the side of a mountain.

 

"I hear your operative was compromised," sneers Biden, "do you think he talked?"

 

"Not a chance, Joe," laughs the Watchmaker, "Moloch was loyal and would have died to keep my alignment a secret.  Sure, we have some exposure now, but its nearly too late.  The clock is nearly at zero.

 

"This had better work, Watchmaker," growls Biden, "they will hang us for treason if this backfires."

 

The Watchmaker stops in his steps and arches an eyebrow at the Vice President.  "Treason?" he spits, "Treason is turning your back on the very crime fighters who were doing the government's job for it.  Throughout history, it has always been the governments that were corrupt, but the people were the ones who would rise above..."

 

"Fine, fine, I get it," interrupts Biden, "I've heard your rally speach already! What I really wanna know is....do you have any decent scotch around here?"

MEANWHILE.....

 

All of you are pleased to see that the sun had risen for everyone, but the mystery still remains.  You all notice that the Comedian's safe was left open, but the odd thing about it is....there are no signs of fire inside...meaning that the safe had been openend after the fire.  It appears that something was stolen from this safe while you all were there.....meaning that some of you indeed ain't innocent.

 

Congratulations, all players survived the night.....but will they survive the Day?  It is now Day 5.
