RP out of town, attn kyn, lor and whoever the tird was (bad memory)

so this was discussed in another tread, what should we do for it, i know i sugested several things that could be done so this could be a req for kyn as well?

 

and who was the second AS?

 

anyhow where to go and what to do, Kyn you aiming for a req in this or just playing along, not sure if you can get helping credit for helping TGs of bellow level, i think its only for sertaint ceremony rps so..

 

and should it be mainplot or retro, if retro which season?

If you're talking about the thread i think you are, it's the one where Kyn and Lor take Quis' character Selene on a trip.

 

On a sidenote, Jerinia will be joining in as well. Now that she's an Accepted, she's been dying for an excuse to spent some time out of the Tower and see what's changed in the time she's been a Novice. Quis said it was okay for her to tag along ^^

i am talking about the ooc tread where i just started discusing doing something togheter with kyn and lor, + geting another AS along and someone in there offered to go with their char

 

And i was thinking of venturing outside the city, which unless things has changed drasticaly means there need to be more then just dying to get out for an accepted to be aproved to go along, accepted in general have a little more freetime then novices, but their freedom they gain is access to actualy leave the tower and venture into the city, they still generaly have to stay within the city walls though..and are generaly ment to be rather bussy with classes and chores. In my time of intiate i can only remember one rp where there was intiates leaving the city, and that was for going along with an embacy to study.

 

So unless rules has been relaxed a Lot i am afriad she will have to praise herself with the added freedom of actualy being able to leave the tower at all for the few times she actualy can spare in her study time to venture into the city, let alone a roadtrip.

If I'm gonna have it work as a Req it needs to be one if these:

 

1. Precious cargo escort- Student will be required to find someone from another division or TPC with whom to rp. The requirement for this class will be to escort another character who is transporting valuable merchandise from somewhere to the WT. The student can either be asked to do this at the request of the WT. Minimum 5 posts. (RP outline must be approved by staff) - If we do this one, we'd have to find  someone from outside the two Div's to play along.

 

2. Studying fighting styles- Student will travel to at least two different areas of randland and study the fighting styles of the different armies located in each. Student will be required to find another person with whom to rp with in at least one of the areas. This person can be a npc if no freelander or other group can be found to participate. Minimum 10 posts.

 

3. Create your own RP outside of Tar Valon involving at least 1 pc (must be another player) from a non Tar Valon based division (RP plan must be approved by staff) Minimum 5 posts. - If we do this one, we'd have to find  someone from outside the two Div's to play along.

not really we dont, the AS could be part of the escort...we could be escorting a thing, maybe we can be aproved for go pick up an ter'angreal found by an AS elsewhere that for whichever reason cant leave her post to transport it back to the WT and suspect it to be dangerous or something, and that someone may be after it from dark side or whatever.

 

That would be a valuable merchandise or such to escort ;), would need some aproving though but i am sure as wt is known to collect and have masses of it, in general it should be aprovable since no one is really keeping it, i know someone over there newly has goten the know ter'angreal talent, so they could take it over after and use it for some plot ...or it could just go down into the cellar to dust down togheter with the rest of the known collection they are suposed to have

I say we'd need to have the out of Div PC/ TPC as it is a required part of the Req... of course if it is a TPC then it doesn't make much of a difference who lays it, just have to have the TPC approved.

well hm, easily enough it says division or tpc, noblesomeone somewhere that is an npc would be a freelander divison aqusition or how to write that, other then that the wt actualy isnt excluded as divison, and they are not the same division as us so that would be someone from another division ;)

 

i belive i did this req once by escorting a freelander aka other division into the city that was going to change over to warders division after :P so dont see why not, he was also having a package with him to deliver to someone there i think...so yeah really other division is outside warders division, as long as otherwise aint specified like in your 3rd option where it says it has to be in a division not based in tv which exludes wt *s* it can even be done on the request of the wt, which it would be if they are escorting the AS that is to transport the merchandice from the donator from the FL ;)

I'm just lookin' for something to do... I think the trip idea works for me and since it doesn't specify an out of TV bnased division then  know we'll have a couple of AS to play along.

 

I was thinking the ter'Angreal plot you had worked just fine, we just need a Freelander to pick it up from... that satisfies all the reqs... anyone around here have a Freelander handy?

 

Another idea I had thought of is that a CotL discovers his sister can channel and wants her out of Amadacia ASAP before everyone else finds out she can channel... arranges a meet clandestinely and we go out to fetch the next WT Novice...

nope for one there is a limit to that rp, and two its in the revoloution as such so not sure how that reflects back on things either

 

we need a npc ttpc or pc that would know a ter'angreal, have reason to have one, and have a reason to know its value to be high enough to need escort, which talk mostly towards an AS, said AS can not escort it though and it has to involve someone from say freelanders actualy being the one...which frankly the easiest solution is a higher ranking noble or a king/queen of a country that would have an AS advicor that could convince them that said artifact needed to be handed over, but said AS could not escort it in due to that meaning they would leave their position as advicor

 

its the simplest solution i could see would be that anyhow, i been trying to come up with anything else that could involve pc's even gone through my own, but logicaly either they wouldnt know what they had, or they wouldnt turn it over to the AS...and yeah sometimes i got a pet peeve about logic :P oddly enough as i didnt when i was new and wanted to explore everything illogical that would be exception to normal.

Well, my FL can channel, though only for the purposes of using her Talent (Listening to the Wind). She generally attacks ships in the open seas and takes their cargo to sell it on the mainland as a trader, so that's a possible way she could have gotten a hold of a ter'angreal. An AS could have come across it among the things she was trying to sell, and made arrangements to buy it.

 

You'd be doing the pickup in question since, as you mentioned, the AS wouldn't be in a position to leave (advisor?). How's that?

All are welcome... what I am planning is to have the 'Party' take the two kids the Lor, Kabria, Kyn and Perivar found on their borderlands trip back to the White Tower. They're 'special' in the young and dangerous kind of way, we're still determining how special they are. This also happens to convientenly side-step the rule about having to ask the WT's permission for using a ter'angreal in a RP. Prolly violates a couple of others, but I won't tell.

 

Why or how you are in Fal Dara makes no difference to me.

 

I'll be happy to kick this off just as soon as I get staff approval, unless of course Eqwina would like to stamp approved on it right here...

Perhaps word was sent to Tar Valon who immediately sent a party to Fal Dara to help escort the Wonder Kids back to the White Tower?  We could recover at Fal Dara while we wait for the escort to arrive.  Lor and Kabria are tired and Perivar is hungry enough for 10 men after being healed so a little rest might be welcomed.

Yes that was what I was hinting at.  Use your special Aes Sedai network to send word to Tar Valon so they can send the escort to Fal Dara.  While we wait for them we can party....Wayne's World style....Party Time, Excellent!
