Can I just point out, this is Dragon's reaction to Verbal being innocent, but when I fight harder to keep a mistake from being made I'm mafia.  Am I the only one this seems WRONG to?

JLM, I asked you str8 up in my last post if you were truly innocent....

and all you keep doing is saying how miserable you are and to get it over with already.

Then you throw Mynd and myself out there as mafia, and that looks like a major deflection to me, because I know my role.

 

I just haven't seen any good reason to unvote you yet. You did this to yourself...this early in the game to be switching votes and such, and not have a really good reason just automatically makes you more suspicious than anyone else. If it turns out you are innocent...maybe you will know not to draw attention like that next time.  ;D

JLM, my gleeman sister, I am more than willing to unvote you and steer the lynch in another direction on the condition that you can convince me that someone else is mafia.  You see, no one but the mafia knows for certain who the mafia is.....but we have to go with the evidence and so far the evidence says YOU.

 

There is a police saying that if you are down to three suspects in a murder but you don't know which one of them is guilty.....arrest them and leave them in jail overnight.  In the morning, the one who slept all night in the jail is the killer.  You see, he knows he's been caught and just wants to be put out of his misery.....sound familiar?

A rope is quickly twisted from vines, with Mynd quickly being placed in the noose. However, just before being thrown from the tree to hang, a moment of godly (or should that be modly?) inspiration points out that he may not in fact be guilty. Suspicion quickly falls on JLM, and she is thrown bodily from the tree.

 

Dangling in the fading sunlight below, a striped black-and-white tail waves from the corpse of JLM. Clearly a Ring Tailed lemur, not one of the dreaded Fossa...

Here's the thing, folks....if JLM were to put up a better argument for her own innocence, I would have backed off and I am sure everyone else would have.  Instead, she gave us this "Fine, lynch me!" business, which has historically been a nasty mafia trick. 

 

Here is the thing folks, I think we may be near ENDGAME at this point.  With 10 players, there are probably only two mafia but we have already lost 3 innocents and we stand to lose a fourth one tonight. This is why I am going to come out and reveal.....I AM THE HEALER! 

 

If I wasn't the Healer, then the real healer would reveal and you can see that no one else has made this claim.  One may consider it rather rash for the Healer to reveal at this time and I have to say I do agree, it would be considered a mistake.  Let me explain my reasons....

 

The Healer needs to get lucky tonight figuring out who to heal tonight or we will be down another innocent.  Then, they will lead a lynch on a guilty looking innocent, who happens to be me or Catina at this time.  Lynching me would be ENDGAME in that the Healer would be dead and there would be no one to protect us from the following night kill, and the mafia would win. 

 

Right now, I have not a clue as to who I am going to heal tonight, maybe I am going to heal me or maybe I won't.  You mafia will just have to guess who I am going to heal......time to toss the dice.  ;D

One way to look at this is that I have to be lucky on who I am gonna heal....but another way to look at it is this....am I gonna heal me? am I gonna heal my gleeman brother (who may be mafia)?  Or am I gonna go for an unlikely target like Spirit, Krugster, or Catina? 

 

You see, its just as much a toss of the dice for the mafia as it is for me to pick the right player.  It might be a smart move for Myndrunner The Healer to heal me......or maybe I won't. 

 

And Nae, I won't say my reveal was that obvious....sometimes people need to read deeper into the things I say in my posts.  I may be telling people more than it appears.  ;)

this is silly cuz if you were really the healer you wouldnt tell everybody.  i think you may be lying to us yet again and want people to think you are the healer so you dont get lynched or something.  i dont see the real healer coming out and calling you a liar cuz it would make them your target.  maybe that is what you are trying to do here?  to get your night kill?

 

care to explain yourself to us myndrunner? run that through your mind why dont you?

Mynd's "I'm the healer...no I'm not...yes I am..." this whole game does seem fishy to me. And now he says that if someone else is the healer, they should come out and say so to prove him wrong? Yes, healer, come out and show yourself so that the mafia can kill you! lol...That sounds like a not so sneaky mafia trick to me. I'm not so sure Mynd is really the healer. We'll see what happens tonight, though.

Hey gang, I understand your frustration, but I assure you that I am the Healer.  No one else has has revealed as the healer, but as you say, that would not be a wise move.  Either way, it would be selfish for the healer to heal himself, wouldn't it?  So maybe I should choose one of the newbs to heal?  How about Catina or Spirit? 

 

We always talk about sneaky mafia tricks.....someday, people are gonna talk about sneaky innocent tricks!

Thank you, Mynd.......I long for the day when people realize innocents can be sneaky and cunning too...it's how we win.

 

And everybody I agree it is weird for the healer to reveal this early in the game, but becuase a healer reveals, doesn't mean they will get NKed right away. The mafia knows now that the NK might be wasted if they try to kill somebody who can heal themself. It is still a guessing game for them.

 

If Mynd is the healer, I bet he heals himself tonight. I would. Wouldn't you mafia folks?

There is a lot of method to this madness and perhaps healing myself is the answer.  Here is the thing, what if I didn't heal myself tonight?  What if I picked someone else?  What if I picked who the mafia picked to kill?  Gee, do you think they will get lucky?

 

....and here is a thought, what if I am not the healer after all?  What if the real healer stayed nice and safe by not revealing, and healed himself/herself? What if the mafia made a big mistake???

 

....I guess we shall find out!  :D

As the sun rises, something fluttering from one of the tallest branches of the tree catches your attention. Waving in the stiff breeze heading through the canopy is the macabre mockery of a windsock - the black-and-white striped tail of a ringtailed Lemur.

 

A quick headcount reveals the missing mammal to be none other than Spirit.

 

Spirit, an Innocent, has been Night Killed.

 

As you all gather on branches, Naeann seems to nod towards Hybrid and Catina. Suddenly the three of them leap forward. Hybrid dispatches Dragon with a quick bite at the base of the neck, Catina enjoying breaking Myndrunner's limbs before finally crushing his skull. Naeann leaps at Krugster, eventually having to call her fellow predators to help her subdue the larger Lemur. Finally he is pushed from the branch to end his life broken on the forest floor far below...

 

Myndrunner and Dragon21 , Innocents , are dead.

 

Krugster , the Healer is dead.

 

The Mafia team of Naeann, Hybrid and CatinaSedai have won the game.

 

Thanks all, apologies for the monumental problems i caused for the innocents in regard to the Healer/Finder problems on Night 1. I sent the right picture, but the wrong text message to both of them. Which caused a teensy bit of confusion...
