Guys, with no Finder, we need to think this through carefully.  That means no hasty action.  Let's not lynch anyone until everyone has had their say.

First off, I am not the healer....I think we have established this (I want some of what Dae is sipping!) but without a finder, we are really gonna have to think long and hard.  I suggest we each reveal which X-man we are and what our powers.....oh wait, wrong game! Doh!

 

In all seriousness, JLM is still so dang trigger happy to vote someone...she just reeeeeeeeks of mafia like a bad bucket of last weeks crawdads!  Now, I only have my gut and intuition on this, but right now my vote stays on [glow=red,2,300]JLM[/glow] unless I can be convinced otherwise......

 

JLM, what exactly strikes you as odd about Dragon's statement?  If anything, he was pointing the finger at me in that statement for leading a lynch on a now revealed innocent.  Care to elaborate?

go after me if you want but if you look you'll see that on day one I was convinced that Verbal was NOT mafia by the speed of the bandwagon that formed on him, the same goes for you too, mynd.  I'm still willing to give you the benefit of the doubt about why you tried to insuate you were the healer, because of the same thing the speed of the bandwagon on you.

i dont know who or what to believe but myndrunner does seem to be playing tricks. he tried to say he was the healer maybe to try a and trick the healer into coming out so the mafia can kill them.  he also has a point though about jenlenasmom or jlm so i dont know.

Now I do admit that I was playing a trick about being the healer, but that was just to throw the mafia off and get them to not night kill me.  You gotta say that it did work though, I am still very much in the game, but I am not the healer.........or am I?  ::)

 

Also, I would like to point out that the statement "go after me if you like" is a typical mafia cop out statement that I have heard mafia say before.  You see, the biggest giveaway in these games is that mafia do things to hide their identity even when no one is pointing the finger at them.  They forget that in these games, the only people who know for sure who is mafia is the mafia. 

 

The fact remains that JLM switched her vote to look not mafia when no one was truly suspecting her in the first place.  This makes her my number one suspect at this time and I am about 80% sure that if we succeed in a lynch on her that we will find her to be mafia.  Unlike her, I am going on fact not a hunch.

Still, this does NOT mean I am not considering Dragon as a possible mafia either....we will see what he has to say about everything when he comes back from his family gathering.

How many other ways can I say this Mynd?  I didn't unvote so I would look not mafia, I unvoted b/c I felt that neither of you was mafia b/c the bandwagons formed so quickly on each of you, nearly everyone voted, suggesting to me that the mafia was flowing with popular vote as long as that vote wasn't on one of their own.  when votes fall like dominos on the first day it usually a sure sign that whoever is up is not mafia and the mafia is laying back and letting us attack each other.  Go back and look at what happened, Mynd was up to be lynched, pretty close and it took nearly no time at all to get there.  Not that surprising, mynd being Mynd and all.  But as soon as a few people started changing their votes after he "claimed" healer it was like an avalanche of votes over to Verbal I think it only took a few hours.  Mynd you know I have played this game enough to know that simply unvoting at the last moment is not a way to avoid looking mafia.  I know this is your play style to attack someone like a bulldog for one little thing they do or say but can you actually read what I'm saying, Lanfear.

Right now, I'm suspicious of JLM for the following reason.  JLM was a major part in starting the bandwagon on Verbal, being the third vote in quick succession after Dragon21.  After the bandwagon was safely formed, she unvoted for the following reason:

I don't know if I buy that logic.  The mafia's goal is to blend in with the innocents as much as possible (obviously).  This means almost always going with the popular vote, regardless of whether it's a mafia or an innocent.  If you are one of the very few against a mafia lynch, guess who looks guilty?  In addition, it contradicts your earlier vote.  You bandwagonned against Verbal, then pulled out once the bandwagon was nearly complete because of the bandwagon.  It seems to me that you were making an excuse for when Verbal turned up innocent.

 

However, I'm not going to vote yet until the rest of you can put in your 2 cents.  We don't want any speed lynches without definite proof since we have lost our Finder and the mafia will be looking to hammer the nails into our coffins.  Depending on the number of mafia, we are 1 or 2 Days away from defeat (unless the healer gets lucky during the Night).  We need to lynch a mafia, so let's take things slowly.

I am not really sure a defense is needed against Just Looks Mafia (JLM) weak claim as to why I am mafia.

As I stated the previous day, JLM your actions pinged my radar big time. My vote is easy to make this time around.

The only other on the radar at all is, Mynd, cause it's weird that he claimed healer yet the mafia didn't NK him. But I suppose they could have assumed it was a risky NK attempt since it was likely he would just heal himself. Guess they got very lucky with their pick.

*shakes head* JLM, not only did you unvote at the last minute just before it was revealed that Verbal was innocent, but you also made SURE that Dae-Train had your unvote on the record....so that everyone knew you unvoted.  Why go to all that trouble to make sure your UNVOTE was counted?

 

...and then, VERBAL IS INNOCENT!  But JLM didn't vote for him so don't go after widdle ol' her.  ::)

 

It's ok, JLM....we still don't know who your buddy or buddies are and with our finder gone, we're gonna be shooting in the dark to find them.  So don't worry, your mafia friends may avenge you.....but for now.....  [glow=red,2,300]JLM[/glow]!

 

Gleeman bro, I said that I took my medicine so that I would avoid the NK.....but expect the NK to occur on me tonight.  Once we down JLM, her mafia buddies (or buddy) will want her avenged. I still suspect newbies Catina and Krugster, but lets not forget Spirit either. We have to assume that at least one of the newbies are on the mafia side....but who?

Ya know....at the risk of sounding like "JUST LOOKS MAFIA" this post from Catina Sedai just bugs me.  Don't get me wrong, I still think that JLM is the right choice here....but if she turns up innocent, I think we need to consider Catina Sedai.  It is almost like she knows JLM and I are both innocent and she is being wishy-washy and waiting to see where the majority goes before committing to one or the other.

 

My vote stays on [glow=red,2,300]JLM[/glow] for the moment.....yet, it may change based on Catina's response.

Actually when I voted for Verbal yes I was teh 3rd vote but there were 5 votes on Mynd.  it was after that that suddenly there was a flurry of unvoting and changing votes to Verbal, in less than an hour Catina had unvoted Mynd and Spirit had voted Verbal making it a tie.  Within another hour Catina had revoted for Verbal, giving him the majority that's a fairly rapid bandwagon when it took two days to get that many votes on Mynd even with his standard outrageous game play.

Since this is only my second online mafia game, and I don't really know any of you that well anyway, it's hard for me to decide what is suspicious and what is just your 'usual style'. However, based on the back and forth arguing between Mynd and JLM, I think one of them has to be guilty. Both of them seem the most suspicious to me after reading and re-reading. I know I originally thought Mynd was innocent, but now I'm not so sure. But I am pretty sure that one of those two is guilty. So, we'll start with [glow=red,2,300]JLM[/glow] and see where that goes.
