Hm, I didn't ask if it was "first" released after Dec 31, 1997, which might lead to his complicated answer. Although I didn't ask if it was "first" released after Dec 31, 1994, either, and all he said was Yes.

 

If someone thinks those should be asked again properly, go ahead and do it.

Your time ones have a few narrowed down for me, Cads.  It's easier for me since the time frame was right around me graduating high school and starting college.

 

I do have one in particular in mind, hens my previous question.  It will clear things up nicely.

Of course this is basing it on the hint that its both sci-fi and horror. But it 'could' be a thriller to. He could just be saying this also to throw us off the mark!

I'd try to clarify if horror & sci-fi are its generes 'only', WE know it is definately a sci-fi but it could be a horror/thriller.

Theres a few other movies I think it might be, but I can't recall what they are named, but I'm positive they came out in the late 90's.

Theres that one with george clooney, space ship, seeing his dead wife.

Then theres the movie Sphere, It might be a thriller and not a 'horror', but I'm pretty sure it came out around 96'.

Another movie, has to deal with 'space travel', FTL travel, and using the principle of 'worm holes' to achieve it. The only problem is, they opened a 'hole directly into hell. ;)

 

oh, and Hell Raiser, I KNOW they had a space one, and they released before 2000!
