I just want to point something out here.  I have a suspicion about Blig here, due in no small part to the fact that BCX wasn't modkilled.  Replacing him seems to suggest a role.  As I'm still VERY suspicious of the dude because of the inconsistency in his posts, I'm also suspicious of the "I'm not feeling it about the dude anymore".  Um, could this be because you are now mafia, and possibly being on the same side as the dude makes you post this?  And bandwagoning on a lynch that is almost done is something a mafia would do.  Especially since they weren't in on the original plan of Sirayn/Kivam's....they would now be making a normal mafia move here....

 

Yes, this is a bit of speculation, but it appears to fit.  Dae, I wouldn't change course just yet if I were you....I have a feeling I'm getting played right now.  :-\

If you look on pg. 1 of the mafia handbook you will see the section about how mafia players about to get lynched will say anything to avoid it.

 

Dude certainly had plenty of time to come up with his plan about announcing me as a role-blocker,and doesn't that just fit nicely together?

 

And somehow, he convinces a few people that he lied, sure, but it's no big deal? It realy was a memory slip? Becuase that happens all the time in these games.

 

And then he waits until Loki announced a short LOA, and must have cheered when I said I was leaving for a while. Nice.

Who has been caught lying?

WHo has tried to be as up-front as possible vs. confusing as possible?

Who revealed when and why? Nobody died when I revealed. And it's easy to make up a story like the dude has when you have all of the pieces to work with, that's just creative. But try pulling off a miller reveal and see what happens. bah

 

Dude is totally not a proven finder. May has not backed him up - and he has implied that she knew he was a finder. Becasue he is a Finder-Mason? Or is this just his last ditch effort to take out a valuable player before he goes down? Mull it over. I'll be back.

I was really trying to hold on to the idea of making it to the end of this game alive , I don't see any way that's gonna happen, so let's just run with this for a minute. Let's not. A truly innocent player with your experience would just say "go ahead and lynch me - I'll be innocent, you'll be evil and my team can go on to victory". But you didn't. Because you're not innocent.

 

I viewed DPR last night:  DPR is mafia, with a gambler role.  A gambler can block one person’s role, once per game.  I expect that was my blocked attempt at viewing Jelly.  I suspect that his claim of being a bomb is false, but I can’t say for sure.  My viewing produced no information on that, but to date, my viewings seem to have been pretty complete.  Nevertheless, be prepared to lose a player when he dies.  His noise about being a prisoner is a complete fabrication. Finding me was the most obvious move on your part. You have to say something totry and take attention off of yourself, so you look at the list of people you can attack, and here I am. Mostly becasue I have already revealed, so there is no chance I can discard your invented gambler role by saying "nope, I'm actually this role and here's the proof." Loki could do that. So could Luthine, so I'm the most logical choice, and by your admission the biggest thorn in your side. It's a cheap trick and I wish others would look at this a little more closely.  Mostly because they would have spotted YOU LYING AGAIN!

 

And this kills me, I can't even believe no one is saying this until now -

 

What kind of finder are you? You lied once about seeing role and alignment. Then you "forgot" and said you only saw the role? Now, miraculously, you can see both again. It's a mafia miracle   :P I can't get back to copy Loki's post highlighting your LIES, but I will, don't worry.

 

I think you cooked all of this up and tried to bum-rush a lynch on me to take me out. You know you'll go down next when I show as an innocent, but at least I'm out of the way. Cheap. It almost worked though -

Don’t lynch May; she’s my bonus confirmed innocent.  May, I enjoyed the hell out of the confusion caused by your first theft.  Watching Kivam squirm was a pleasure.  It was fun being one of the only ones in on the joke.

 

I don’t know if there are any other mafia, and I’m not going to post any suspicions; in this game they’re as likely to be wrong as not, and I don’t want to taint anyone’s perception. Bull. She's confirmed nothing.

 

I’m hoping this is going to be enough information for the innocents to take the win on this one; I’d rather not die for nothing here, guys. No Joke

 

Some points I’d like to make:

 

I didn’t counterclaim right away because I smelled a mafia plot.  If they were fake-claiming that soon, it’s because they wanted to draw out the finder early and take them out, or otherwise tie up the healer in the mess.  I expect that at the time they were quite disappointed with my lack of cooperation. ;)  Now you come up with an answer? What was wrong with two days ago?

 

Healer, if you protected me on the nights where there was no kill, thanks for the vote of confidence.  Jeebus knows it’s about the only one I got all game. 8) Healers don't protect mafia.

 

DPR, it was a good try drawing me away from viewing Jelly, but no dice.  You almost had me going for a little while, D, but I caught you, you abolitionist scum. ;)  bleh

 

All you mafia played a good game.  This game gave me a perpetual headache trying to tell up from down.  I knew I was being played and just didn’t know how to get out of it.  If I have my way, you won’t be making it out of this one alive.

 

My main comfort right now is picturing the two of you sweat, along with any compatriots you may still have.  That and having pegged 3 out of 4 mafia so far. You taking credit? nice.

 

Now watch guys, let’s see them scramble.  This should be interesting. =D Yes, it should

Almost,and DPR this is what happened to me: you being Mafia makes sense (and so begins the crazy theories)

 

Day 1, you bandwagon Thorum's lynch while it was quite obvious he wasn't Mafia for some weak reason and Vemy calls you out on it

Enters Jelly and her "viewing" of Vemy being Mafia, convenient when he was the one pushing the lynch on you. Follows a post by Sira:

 

Third item of interest: I'm not going to quote Vemynal's entire post, but holy oceans of jumping the gun, Batman! He concluded that Kivam, DPR and/or Daetirion (but mostly DPR) were evil because they were the second, third and fourth votes on a lynch that hadn't even been finished and coronered yet? That's the least conclusive evidence in the history of day ones, and considering the day ones we've had in the past, that's saying something.

 

(I'll call this one 3A because it's not actually a suspicion, but I'm impressed by bcxanth's post here. It's not a big deal but I like his train of thought and his willingness to shine light on low-lying players.)

 

Okay - that's my take on day one.

 

Vemy gets lynched and for some unknown reason, Jelly chooses to view you. She finds you to be "mafia", effectively putting you under the radar and voilà, that's about all I've got against you.

(And would you please not contradict me, it's such a pretty theory and you'll make me cry if you do :P)
