WoT Craving

Does anyone else just have a craving to reread the WoT? I am currently away from most of my WoT books and the library has TEotW checked out and I just have an itch that I cant scratch when it comes to the WoT. Just wondering if this is a common feeling among other fans.

I've got too many books waiting for me to re-read them yet, but I am INDEED craving them. The books are sat beside me right now..*reaches down and pats one affectionately*

I normally can read two maybe three other books before going back to WOT

I read way too many other books (and write my own) to re-read WOT very often. What I do though is listen to the Audio CDs at work all the time. That's always a good way to refresh yourself with the story too.

I know what you're talking about.  If I don't pick up the series once a year or so, I start to feel the itch.

I am almost done with my current re read.  Rand and Co. are about to leave Far Madding, heading for the Showdown at Shadar Logoth.  I should be done another 10 days.

After that, since finding out that Terry Pratchett (as good as Jordan but oh so much funnier) has early onset Alzheimers, I promised myself that I would reread the complete Discworld in order once a year.

After that, I have four of Sandersons books, the first two mistborn, Elantris, and the free .pdf of Warbreaker so that will all be a first time read.

After that, I just picked up a copy of Douglas Adams "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy 25th Anniversary Edition" and I want to see if they get any funnier than the first tim ei read them, back when The Creator and I were both young.

After that, probably around the end of the summer, I have the first two George R. R. Martin SoIaF novels. I have been told they are very good so I am saving them for last.  Also the fifth book in that series will be out by then so I can pick up 3, 4 and 5, and read the whole thing for the first time uninterrupted, which I think will be sweet.

Of course, my college philosophy back ground requires that I keep a copy of Kainz' "Philosophical Perspectives on Peace" or something of that ilk, in the bathroom and a stack of John Sanford's Lucas Davenport "Prey" novels on the back patio for warm weather.

I thank the Creator I grew up in a house with a black and white television and crappy antenna reception from mountain interferance and thus did not develop an unholy addiction to the retard box.

Oh, our video game was a Telstar.  you can look that up on the Net.  Three games to choose from, but they were all the same thing, just with a different sized, on screen, paddle that only went up and down in any event.

I have all the WoT books on CD and have been listening to them non-stop since I discovered the series, the only break I have taken was to listen to Harry Potters 6 and 7 when they came out...1 time each then right back to where I was in the WoT series. I have 2 big metal briefcase size CD cases with my copys of WoT in them From TEOTW to KOD and they go with me everywhere, Work, Store, Road Trips, Dentist, dosen't matter.

I keep a battery powered CD player with me that I can clip on my belt pop in a disk and just let it unfold. I know I have gone through it at least 15 times maybe more and I always find something new and I never get tired of any of it. Irrates my bosses at times me sitting at my desk with head sets in typeing away like I am now. Then again It's not like they are going to stop me with everyone else in the office listening to something or another hehe.

I am attempting to "broaden my horizons" and read different authors that I've never read before. I do listen to TDR, LOC, NS, and KOD, whenever I can and will listen to the rest as soon as I can get my hands on them.

Im just a novice amoung most here, i have only read the series about 7 times through now.  ;D

Im not sure how often i will reread them after the last book is out but for alwhile i was reading them all right before the next book came out so i had it all fresh.

I would love to find another author i like as much as RJ but it is tough.
