Nifty Disabilities

Few Novices that are accepted into the Tower are raised to accepted, and few still to Aes Sedai. These are often the best of the best that obtain the shawl. However there are some of us the have fought against the odds and will be *knocks on wood* raised to Aes Sedai with more than just the basics hurdles. We have disabilities, weaknesses that hinder learning the arts withing the Tower Walls.

 

My character Maegan Ryanne is nearly blind. She can only see if channeling or wearing stupidly thick eye glasses.

Arette doesn't really have any disabilities but she often thinks that she knows the best what is good for those who she loves. And usually she goes about it in a totally wrong way and causes needness suffering for herself and others.

 

I chose a physical flaw for Annais and hers is endometriosis. So every month she curses the Creator that she is a woman.

 

Some other physical disabilities could cause humorous situations even though they are quite tragical. There is always the classical uncontrollable flatulence, bad breath, stuttering or lisp and chronic hiccuping.

Do personality disorders count as disablilities? Because if so, according to a random quiz (this one...http://www.4degreez.com/misc/personality_disorder_test.mv yes...I was bored at work :D) Sial is paranoid, schizoid, antisocial and narcissistic not to mention schizotypal, avoidant and obsessive-compulsive. Heh heh.

I suppose they arent very nifty though ;D
