Favorite Scene describing her accendence into adult-hood

 

"first I grew 7 inches, then My left hand got bigger, then my right foot, My face got longer, My nose got 3x as large, Then I grew boobs. (cut to animation showing all of this, and as she grew boobs, she fell face first on the ground) Then My ass restored my center of gravity"

Saw Game of death last night, which I found highly ejoyable, despite a lack of the real Bruce Lee 'til the last 11 or so minutes. Lots of kung-fu-tastic moments. 7,5/10!

Tropic Thunder:

 

I am not a fan of Ben Stiller or Ben Stiller movies.  Sure, he strikes gold about every 10th film he does.  There is Something about Mary and Dodgeball come to mind.  I didn't particular like him in this movie either... but everything else about it was great.  I didn't laugh nonstop or anything, but I did laugh quite often.  Mostly it was something Robert Downey Jr said or Tom Cruise.... Tom Cruise was great.  I am giving this one 4 out of 5 empies.

Meh, I thought Tropic Thunder was mostly rubbish, with the exception of Tom Cruise, who singlehandedly carried the movie despite being little more than a cameo. A weak 3/5.

Yeah, I didn't love TT either, barring Downey Jr and Cruise's characters. Those were pretty fun. Overall, it was moderately entertaining, so I give it a 3/5 as well.

I only gave it a 4 out of 5 because it beat my low expectations.  Well that and RDJ and TC really did a great job.  Ben Siller still sucks.  Oh and that trailer at the start for the RDJ movie was awesome.

Finally saw the E Norton Hulk.  I was not expecting much out of it, cause I was not sure about Norton.  Also I was not looking forward to another retelling from the beginning.  In the end, it was good.  The whole heart rate thing annoyed me because I seem to recall it being more "anger" activated, but whatever.  In a way, it was standalone, but with the vague details revealed about the experiment and his flight to South America, it could be imagined as continuing the other.  4/5

OK we just saw Cashback...  Awesome.  I love the part where the "martial artist" shows off his moves and slaps that other guy in the chops.

I saw Yes Man on Friday, the new Jim Carrey movie. I actually thought the premise and screenplay were quite good, but the fact that they put Jim Carrey in the role took away from the quality. I laughed quite a bit, but it was at the parts where he was more toned down. Too often he took it to the level of just plain shtick, and it was distracting and disappointing. I think the movie would have been better served as a more earnest comedy rather than being quite as slapstick as Jim made it.

 

I also thought that his transition from the guy he was before "Yes" to the guy he was in the rest of the movie was a little bit ridiculous, and far too fast. All in all, a good idea, disappointingly carried out. 3/5.

I have to agree about Cashback. I loved the "karate chop" slap, but even more so, I loved the narration. Also, the boobies. ;)

Oh! I also watched Persepolis. It was engaging and unpretentious, and I very much liked the animation. I give a very pleased 4.5/5 stars.

Saw Little Miss SUnshine this saturday, and it's just such an awesome and excellent film. The ending, in particular, has me laughing my arse off every time. I give thee 8,5/10

This is our "Little Miss Sunshine" - although we have yet to find a way for her to make us money.

And the boobies in Cashback were, at the very least, prolific, and some were better than others.

I saw Cashback as well.  The movie was good.  I spaced out near the end though so I need to rewatch some of it.

saw Fucking Åmål yesterday (I refuse to censor a name *angry face*) which I found to be a rather good movie! Quite easy to relate to, as it's about teenagers in the 90's (I was only a few years too late for that >.<) and it had some pretty moving moments. I give thee 8,5/10
