I've got a question.  Is there any decent way to pick someone to lynch on Day One?  I mean, I bandwagoned last time, and Dorrin turned out to be innocent, and I'm voting randomly this time, but it still feels like I'm not getting the hang of this game.

Come up with a bs argument, vote for someone, and pending how they react to the argument keep/remove you vote on/from them.

 

But like I said, since I've mentioned it (now twice) anyone who reads this is gonna know what to expect people to be looking for.

Right, I'll keep that in mind, Vemy.  When I played the first game, I was intrigued by the amount of analyzing and scenarios going on, even though it was just a newbie game.  I don't think I'd last five minutes in one of the full games!

just curious, who are you casing?

a "case" is an individual person. its where you gather their posts up and analysis them.

 

A review is where you do everyone, usually just a summary of actions "he said this, commented this" and then you add your opinion of each person at the end of your sum of them.

hehe.. you know. Leelou, that every now and then you have to work. And also sometimes you got to spend some time with the girlfriend. But, yeah, no good way of getting a vampire first day. But waiting for night is usualy a bad idea, so we kinda need to lynch someone.

Safir, this is a coroner game. meaning yes roles are revealed upon death.

Why isn't Maud playing? He signed up. Did he pm you that he couldn't play?

 

Gonna do a quick review^^

Amethea-Same play style as last time. Constantly asking questions. Nothing odd here.

 

cloudcrono- Safir votes for him, then unvotes and cloud has no problems with this. Then votes Min (whether as a random vote or to see her reaction i don't know). has only made 3 posts, an entrance post, 1 spam post, and 1 post forgiving Safir and voting min.

 

Dark Justice- makes an entrance post, is the last to show up. a spam post, implies we could hunch lynch. but says he lacks the skill at that. Asks for a confession from the vamps.

 

Danya- Joins the game in her first post^^ (/snuggles his BoP&G^^). 3 spam posts. Comments that shes an experienced player, comments that we shouldn't lynch an experienced player because theres no proof one of us is evil. After I vote for her she comments she's only posted 3 or 4 times (this is her 6th) and asks what my reason for voting her is. Posts asking in what way she defended sboyd. Comments she was only questioning my reasoning. Comments wasn't defending sboyd but all 3 experienced players.

 

Leelou-3rd person to show up. Asks what they do now in her second post. 2 spam posts. Responds to my "2 special good, 3 bad and 6 innocent" post with a "we already know". Comments that she thought the first day is usually random. Votes for dark justice for being really quiet even though she's only made 3 more posts then him (and he's made 1 more post then a couple of others). Kinda fishy, keeping my eye on this one as well.

 

Min- Very adamant about not killing her, as you'd expect a newbie murderer to be. Someone who would go over the top being voted for. But Calyn reacted this exact same fashion in the wild wild west game and i know Min doesn't have a clue whats going on since this is her first game so I doubt she's evil.

 

Mr. Soy Boyo- 1 entrance post, 1 spam post, I vote for sboyd and then a bit later he inquires as to why I voted for him instead of danya. He also agrees with cloud that he's willing to lynch Min. Has only made those 3 posts. Nothing suspicious about him that i can find.

 

Naeann- 1 entrance post, 1 spam post, didn't like the Saturday time limit, inquires whether I am offering myself up as a possible lynch when i said "myself or sboyd" (and the answer is yes nae, not like I could stop you). I got nothing here.

 

Safir- he's playing an entirely different way this time, being open and vocal about his opinions. Very active this time. Normally a change in play style is a red flag, and while I know this is meta-gaming. The end of the wild wild west game we told him to try to be more active, it was because I was more vocal that people didn't believe him. So I don't think he's evil, it just happened to catch my eye.

 

Vemynal- I'm me, what you want? My plans i shall keep to myself for the time because if others knew them then they wouldn't work now would they? I'll leave it to danya or sboyd to review my posts (sorry for all the spam posts^^)

 

Zylazlo- First game post. 2 spam posts. calls for us to begin but its before everyone has shown up. Calls for a random vote and someone to sacrifice themselves, comments that we might as well random vote since we are at a stalemate anyways. Is happy he is not an experienced player, uses the random vote method known as the "Loki Opener" where everyone lynches the 8th person on the list (happens to be naeann). hmm keeping an eye on this one

reviewing everything my money is on leelou or Zylazlo- and [glow=red,2,300]Zylazlo-[/glow] stands out a bit more in my mind and with the "lets random kill" attitude (only 1 step away from my "lets kill inactives" in the last game)

Interesting.  Zy definatley does sound like a good candidate for lynching first.  But this leaves a question as to whether we can trust Vem or not.

 

I'll still keep my vote for a little later.

I was thinking like vem did earlier, that most likely one of the more experienced players is a vampire, to help newbies out. question is whom. thing is i dont really know who is experienced here. been away from fiddles for too long. Just know Danya & Zyl is experienced. but to lynch a innocent experienced player is a quick route to defeat. Also agrees that Leelou´s reason for voting me is a bit weird. Not enogh to go on. not at all.

and guys, we have 6 candidates up right now, why don't we all agree to keep those 6 as our "6 to choose from" and pick one from there? out of 11 people we got to at least have 1 murderer in there

 

And Safir thats np, I know you probably will want to wait till someone reviews me.

 

To explain my actions a bit before someone reviews me though:

1) Yes i know my voting all over the place is as squirrelly looking as Zylazlo's random killing. But I've been trying to use that method of voting for people and judging reactions. + we needed someone to be the ice breaker as everyone is afraid to point the finger because the fact is you look slightly guilty doing it. I'm willing to take the chance and get the game started since talya is replacing me in a week anyways if I'm still alive.

Dark Justice:  You have to admit though, she has a reason, as small as it is, at least it's better than a random vote, if you know what I mean.  Random votes are moot.  You have no basis for the vote.  If anything, it makes you look more guilty.

 

Leelou, Zy and Min are the most suspicious to me at this point.

I just think its a bit weird reasoning, thats all. my few posts is the reason for the vote, when there was others who had posted less at the moment of the vote. But no reasons are really good on first lynch anyway...

if someone becomes adamant about random killings (just name out of the hat picking, especially if they are the one choosing) and advocating the killing of inactive players is generally gonna get votes against you, and with good reason.

 

@Nae: oh, well we can't edit posts so i'll have to leave it there. Better then a 3rd spam post though right?

I've gotta be honest, it'd be very stupid to kill me off this early. Trust me. But I am a big fan of getting the first day out of the way so we can get to REALLY playing and not just fooling around. And that being said do what you must.
