Excited to Join the Wheel of Time Community!

Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to be a part of Dragonmount and connect with fellow Wheel of Time fans. I've been a fan of the series for a while now and recently completed all the books. The world Robert Jordan created is so immersive, and I'm always excited to discuss everything from the Aes Sedai to the intricacies of the One Power.

I’m particularly interested in how the show has adapted the books and hearing different fan theories about the future of the series. It’s been great seeing how the fandom has grown, especially with the new TV series bringing even more attention to the books.

If anyone has recommendations for discussions or in-depth lore topics to dive into, I’d love to join! I’m also happy to share my thoughts on character arcs and plot developments if anyone’s interested.

Looking forward to meeting other fans and participating in the great conversations here on Dragonmount!

Welcome michaelcarlos. I hope I got that right. My spelling is rubbish. 

 

There are dedicated discussion forums for the books and now for the show that you can poke around in. Many folks like to give their thoughts so have at it. 

There are also the orgs which give you a bit of flavour from a perspective of different  groups. Personally,  I just came back from a long break. I used to be active in the White Tower and Black Tower orgs ( they were called social groups I think when I was here before). It can be quite fun to sort of pretend about such things

For the more hardcover there are also dedicated Role Play boards. I don't know very much about them though. 

We also.have a games board with different things going on. Currently  there is a magic adventure  and a mafia game. Both are very fun.

Anyway, glad to meet another fan.

Welcome to DM. I'm newly arrived as well.  I love the books and am a fan of the TV show as well.

Hi and welcome to DM. We certainly do have both book and TV show discussions that are free for anyone to join in. There are the 'what did you think about this?' Threads and a whole heap of deep dive theories.

 

And we have our social organisations that you can join and do WoT stuff. The currently active ones are the WT, the Band, Shayol Ghul and ...the Kin? Sadly the BT is currently inactive but who knows, maybe it can be brought back.

 

We also play games, such as Mafia, and other random things. I'm currently running a Choose your Own adventure game. It might seem a little daunting bit all you really need to do is skip to the last story post and then vote for your choice using the Reactions. We also have a chit chat too.
