Now I guess we sit and wait for our Evils to make up their minds who to kill.

Or till Barmy wakes up/comes home from work

he's east coast right? so it's 3:30 there for him

 

I'd say we won't see him for another 2 hours.

 

So spin the wheel of murderer!

He usually posts between 2 and 3 am. Now it's almost 10 pm. I won't stay awake.

 

Please, healer, heal. Please.

[Leelou]

I thought he was normally on around 7ish east coast time.

[Barmacral]

I am usually on around 7pm Eastern Standard Time.

 

You go to pour another glass of brandy, to find that nothing comes out of the bottle. In effort to remedy this, you smash the bottle and start poking around inside it, cutting your hands and tongue quite badly. It is at this point that you realize that you are completely hammered. You’ve drowned yourself long enough, it was time to go to bed.

Unfortunately though, it seems that other patrons had different idea’s. Vemynal stands up and walks over to Leelou, who has passed out. Holding up a broken spur, he nods at Thorum and reaches for Leelou’s throat. Naeann, seeing this, jumps up and rushes over to stop Vemynal, while screaming “He’s going to kill her!”

Thorum, who happens to be sitting next to Naeann, stops her rush by sticking out a foot and tripping her. He promptly pulls out his gun and attempts to shoot her in the head, to discover that his gun was empty. Smiling, Naeann pulls all of his bullets out of her pocket, and scatters them across the floor.

Its too late though, Vemynal has slit Leelou’s throat, and she has woken up gurgling for the last few seconds of her life.

You watch as SboydW, as drunk as you are pulls out his gun, and shoots out a window that wasn’t particularly close to either Vemynal or Thorum. Vem, with a cruel look on his face pulls out his revolver, and promptly kills SboydW. In the confusion, Naeann flee’s the bar, only to be shot by Thorum in the back. It appears to you that he had a second weapon hidden away.

You watch in terror, stupidly gibbering about how you never had an issue with either of them, and peeing your pants as the two of them slowly walk over to you. Thorum produces a cord, and strangles the life out of you.

 

Tossing a broken spur on each of the final victims, the final two members of the bloodhound gang wander out of the bar, collect their horses and go riding out of town.

 

Game over! Mafia has won the game.

so they picked Leelou?  I would have been wrong anyways as i was considering Boyd to protect.  I suck at being protector ... I didn't trust any of you obviously. *grins*

 

I knew you were evil Thorum.  Like I said... you said you saw no reason to believe I was anything but innocent and the proceeded to pick me.

I was the one who proposed killing each of you during the night >.>

 

For the *LONGEST* time we considered that sboyd was a rolled innocent because he said Talya was evil. He also asked for protection so we assumed that he was the protector. So we started looking for people who had played games before.

 

to expand:

Night 1 choices- [glow=red,2,300]Toy[/glow] & twitchy

We thought that night 1 me, talya or sboyd would be viewed. So other then sboyd we were looking for anyone who jumped on us off the bat. Since jackdaw and Safir gave up on me half way through we figured maybe they werent.

 

Night 2 choices- jackdaw, twitchy and [glow=red,2,300]Amethea[/glow] (amethea, you read the whole double blind so we considered you might have gotten smart at the game fast, so we picked you)

 

Night 3 choices- Twitchy or Nae. We went with twitchy because we felt he was likely the finder trying to throw us off him by claiming my innocence. + I thought I could write off "omg I was wrong about twitchy" a lot better.

 

Night 4 choices- Thorum gave everyone a # and pmed me to pick a 1 to 4 #. I don't know about thorum but this was a good idea because I felt that the protector might have caught on to the type of players we night killed.

 

Hope this helps! It doesn't hurt to review the whole game now knowing the facts because you'll learn what things to look for later.

 

My advice- Day 2 you guys had: sboyd, calyn, talya, jackdaw, Safir. You all thought i was either guilty of highly suspicious. Safir and jackdaw both  we adamant about lynching me as well. Day 3 you guys should have lynched me (which it really almost came too) instead of following through with my plot about Nae/Tal/Twitch.

 

Especially since boyd was the only one even expressing concern over calyn's alignment up to that time.

I'm also sorry to you Dorrin. Honestly, I meant what I kept saying about not lynching you till we thought things out. I was trying to turn things around on sboyd since he proposed killing talya off the bat. But leelou had already voted for you and my 2nd vote gave you 1 more then the others. So everyone stuck on you >.>. I hope we didn't ruin the game for you, I know how much it sucks to die in the beginning your first time. I was honest about being night killed night 1 my first game.

 

And don't trust people! 1) that test I mentioned with those violent pics? Bull crud all of it. While yes I was mad at Dorrin for his comment (that wasn't feigned) I linked those pics afterwards thinking that you guys would figure no even half smart murderer would do something like that. There was no test. I never did bad. Suspect people are lying about anything or everything! The in class essays I linked were actually grades out of 25 not 20. On 1 you can kinda make out the word "job". it had siad "great job" my thumb was covering it up (that was my midterm I took the week after I posted those pics)

 

The essay I asked you guys to hold the game for was real, didn't lie about that. You did nothing wrong there. I think it would be a good idea to give someone a chance to defend themselves. Honestly it wasn't till I was beginning my case that I decided to pretend to be the finder because as Safir pointed out "everyone but vem has had the chance to respond and has not claimed finder". it was sheer luck I had made so many comments i could case my "finder ship".

 

And from the games i've seen, they don't degrade into a match of "whose the better liar" all the time. But you gotta expect a murderer to defend themselves and plan ahead what they might use and look for patterns.

 

I only made it a "whose the better liar" game at the end because misdirection and lying are 2 things I have some skill in. That wasn't a friends comment about the lies having some truth, that was my own.

 

Anyways, i hope this helps everyone! This is all my experiences though which I have many less then sboyd or barm or talya or thorum or toy. Anything you guys would have done differently in my position? Anything i mentioned above in grave error?

Wow! I haven't followed this game very closely but I'm thrilled that an evil player who wasn't me fake claimed finder. It's one of my all-time favourite evil plays and I love to see it happen. :D

That being done... good game! Thorum.. very impressed with the random kill for the last one.  I knew there was no way I'd ever pick the right one.  Ask Barm... lol. I speculated in my pm to him.

 

Is there plans for another newbie game in the future?

Vem: Nope.  Well, I played 2 games before, but the first one don't count.  (not to me anyway cause I didn't play it. >.>)  The other one was the Double-Blind.  So, I guess I was a LITTLE experienced because of it, but not much.

 

Nae:  I think after the Suras Hunt...maybe sooner?

I was wondering how you came up with Leelou. Alys and I both agreed with Naeann's choice to protect herself, and I definately didn't expect to see any name other than Naeann's or SboydW's.

 

Although I'm wondering... 1-4? Who was the 4th? There was 5 people left, and 2 of you were evil, which means there'd only be 3 possible choices.
