Sorry, person above me, I was actually one of the smaller kids who mostly spent recess darting in amongst trees rather than consorting with classmates.

At least the person above me had trees to dart amongst.  I had a blacktop and two playgrounds.  Walking around in circles with one friend on the blacktop was about the funnest thing to do, except tetherball.
