Other than blogs kept by friends, what are some interesting blogs you read?

I have a couple I recomend.

Ron Moore, executive producer of Battlestar Galatica keeps a production blog. He answers questions about the show and shares a bit of his political views.

Scott Adams, creator of "Dilbert" started a blog a few months ago. He rambles about his personal philosophy, his struggles with a rare neurological condition, and sneaking dirty jokes into the print version of Dilbert.

I also subscribe to Cute Overload, which regulary fills my day with dozens of cute baby animal pictures.

Finally, Josh Reads the Comics So You Don't Have To. http://joshreads.com/ Its really just a bunch of dirty jokes about Rex Morgan, MD and the girls in Apartment 3G, but boy is it worth it.

So anything you guys would recommend to us?

I read a blog by the author Jen Lancaster. She wrote a memoir all about how she went from being rich with a cushy job to being kicked out of an apartment in the ghetto. Her book is Bitter is the New Black: Confessions of a Condescending, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered Smartass,Or, Why You Should Never Carry A Prada Bag to the Unemployment Office

and her blog is: Jennsylvania

... Jeran really needs to see that Ron Moore one - he's a HUGE Battlestar galactica fan ... :)

Thats one of the reasons I asked this question. I never would have known about Scott Adams if it wasn't for it being linked in someone else's blog.

Another one I enjoy, is on Livejournal, which I know is death for serious bloggers. However, its incredibly well written. TheFerrett writes about politics, marriage, internet celebrity (its like being famous, but without actually, you know, DOING anything) and more.

Well worth adding to your newsfeed.

Reviving this thread to mention the excellent Vegan Lunchbox blog. I'm not a veggie myself, but I love Jennifer Schmoo's daily updates about what interesting treats she's packed for her son's lunch that day. Replace the tofu with meat and this is all stuff I'd eat.

Ah I love Vegan Lunchbox. It had most fabolous vegan loaf recipes a few days back. Plus there's so many yummy things that I can make too, since I'm an aspiring vegan.

Blogging the Bible, by David Plotz. Plotz is rereading the Bible, from start to finish, after realizing the version he was taught as a kid left out the gory details. He critiques it from a literary standpoint and a layman's perspective. It's a really interesting way to approach it. He's not searching for some fundamental truth, but rather looking for the story in the book and how it still has relevance to his modern life.

I highly recommend it.
