'Sei'cair'

In ACoS, Chapter 3, "Hill of the Golden Dawn", when Perrin finally has a chance to ask Feraighin if Faile is well, she replies, "I think Faile Aybara is well, 'Sei'cair'. I don't remember the Aiel with him later calling him this, or any other reference to it. Any one here speak the old tongue well enough to know what this means?

Sei'cair means "Golden Eyes"

The root "sei" can be seen in "Seia Doon" (Black Eyes), and Seanchan phrases like "sei'taer" (straight or level eyes) and "sei'mosiev" (downcast eyes).

The suffix "cair" (golden) can be seen in "Al'cair'rahienallen" (The Hill of the Golden Dawn) and "Al'cair Dal" (The Golden Bowl)

I wonder if the Aiel speak in the Old Tongue enough to give him this kind of a name? I dont think anyone else has one, except the Car'a'carn. Does this indicate that Perrin might be in some Aiel prophecies? I know him being in the Seanchan prophecies hit me from nowhere.

I think the only full Aiel prophecy we know is the one at Rhuidean. We know others exist because of the remnant of a remnant thing that keeps coming up.

Thoughts?

Well, to be fair most Aiel titles are in the old tongue... the names of the clans, the name of the jenn, the name of the race... places too attain old tongue titles, like al'cair dal.

Its not all that special.

I agree that a lot of the titles are in the old tongue. I probably should have been clearer in the point I was trying to make.

What I was saying was that a lot of titles are in Old Tomgue, but as far as I can tell they are all old titles. The words Jenn and Aiel have been being used since the Old Tongue was the language spoken by people in general. Of the other examples Im not 100% sure but, Alcairdal for example, I think I remember reading has been around for a while, Aiel Warrior Societies are not new either, we saw the start of Far Dareis Mai in the history of the Aiel flashbacks, Car'a'carn is a title from the prophecies.

What I'm trying to say is most of the Old Tongue usage comes from things that have been around for a long time. So my question could Seia'cair be something mentioned in the prophecies and now applied to Perrin?
