20 questions: Arie

This game works just like the 50 questions game, except that due to the lack of  active members, it has been made into 20 questions. Someone will ask 5 questions of @Arie, and she will answer them. Then, someone else will ask 5 questions, and Arie will answer those. Everyone is allowed to ask 10 questions total, they simply have to wait for someone else to post before asking another 5 questions. 1 point per question is awarded to both participants (the person asking the questions and the person answering). It should be noted that the questions should be within the limits of the Code of Conduct, and that if Arie does not want to answer a question, she is not obligated too. 

 

Alright, here's my five questions:

1. Who is the worst written character in WoT in your opinion?

5. What is a name in WoT that you absolutely refuse to pronounce correctly?

1. Who is the worst written character in WoT in your opinion?

I really don't like Sandersons portrayal of Graendal. The storyline never bothered me, but just the scenes from her perspective felt shallow and wrong to me.

 

2. Who is the best written character in WoT in your opinion?

I appreciate Egwene's growth in the books, even when she annoyed me. 

 

3. Favorite video game?

I'm over 1300 hours into Animal Crossing, if that is a telling sign. Diablo, Hades and Minecraft Dungeons are certainly up there, along with some casual playing of Rogue Legacy 2. Most games I play need to not have a lot of video movement, as I get motion sickness really, REALLY easily.

 

4. Favorite book/series?

All-time? Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud. Although there are many series that I have and will go back to for a re-read. Nalini Singh is my current obsession in recent years.

 

5. What is a name in WoT that you absolutely refuse to pronounce correctly?

All of them? I read them all differently then they sound until I hear how they sound then it's correct. I'm not sure which I still say wrong. XD

1. Who is the most annoying WoT character?

The Hall. Just the lot of them. THEY let so much happen that could have been dealt with in a manner without putting the whole tower on display for the entire world. Expelling the Blue Ajah. yeesh, that was ridiculously dumb. 

 

2. Who is the least annoying WoT character?

Brigette. Hands down. I appreciate her candor and her "guess i'll just drink through this one too" attitude. Something I have learned to do too in my older age. XD

 

3. If you could be from any nation in WoT, where would you be from?

Aiel or Andor. I'm taller than average, very blonde, but I'm pale enough that I probably don't spend -that- much time in the sun.

 

4. If you had a choice, would you choose to channel saidin or saidar?

Saidar. I'll always consider myself a "Pevara" of the Black Tower.

 

5. What is your favorite meal?

Most anything I don't have to cook! (not that i can't cook, but not having to is always a selfish favorite.)

1. If you were a wot char who would you be?

The older I get, the more Pevara I become. When I was younger I would have said Egwene, but now i'm set in my ways but open to changes as life forces upon me.

 

2. Are you a glass half full or half empty person?

There is a liquid in my drink. Unless it's empty, then it's broken and needs fixing.

 

3. What is your favourite tea?

... This could be a rabbit hole. XD 

When I'm feeling unwell I lean towards Honey Lemon tea, or Throat Coat which is more of an anise-based tea. I love my Raspberry Mojito tea, which is perfect when iced in the summer time with a little homemade simple syrup (sugar disolved in boiled water). And then there is the nice afternoon tea, where it's usually fruity in the summer months, or mint in the autumn months, and a good spicy chai in the colder months.

 

I don't think I have 1 favorite, but certain favorites depending on the year or my mood.

 

4. Do you prefer birds or lizzards? 

Birds!

 

5. What is your favourite thing about BT?

You guys. ?

I'm on book 6 and yes to this. The Hall is ugh.

 

And mint tea is nice for both hot and cold days.

Crossroads of Twilight. (Yeah, i'm one of those that loved this one.)

Cairhien Academy, White Tower & the Andor Library. ?
