Mod did not create custom roles and then semi-change an already existing role.

You gets points for trying tho.

Kat, unless anyone else objects, I think were good to go.

LOL - just no...

For mechanical purposes, the Ascetic does not roleblock actions taken against it, meaning that Trackers, for example, will be able to track someone attempting to target an Asceticrole, even though their action will not work. The Ascetic role is often utilized as a modifier (a form of secondary power/limitation to a primary role) to temper the powers of otherwise strong power roles. I.e. if you are worried about a cop role being too powerful in a particular setup, you can make it an Ascetic Cop.

A tracker would follow the person visiting the ascetic but that person visiting the ascetic would have no effect.

Not really hard to understand.

That doesn't work either - Marsh would have been RB'd and not received a result.

Ascetic is a role modifier (though it can function as a role in its own right) that causes a player to be immune to all actions at Night except kills. More precisely, Ascetic reflexively Roleblocks all actions taken against them except kills.

When combined with other power roles, the Ascetic modifier creates roles that cannot be tampered with directly, but are immune to beneficial actions as well. For example, an Ascetic Cop cannot be Roleblocked, but also cannot be protected by a Doctor.

Except he was moved off me.

but whatever, you’re not gonna believe anything I say atp so I’m not gonna waste my time.

I imagine you’ll be in the deadthread waiting for me. See you soon.

Plus, if you were town, your analysis would have extended to other players and who you thought was scum instead of just defending yourself.

You're slipping, lol.

Reread my post before you make your confbias any more obvious.

Or, just be more clear - this ain't the time for fancy words and such.

You got something to say, say it.

I'm not deaf to reason - if you come up with a compelling scenario, I'm all ears.

But your claim doesn't make sense because in both examples, Marsh did get a result, so there's that.

He got one on another player who was teamed with the Bus Driver. So unless you think Leelou bussed both of her partners for ??? reasons then you should probably slow your roll.

No one has claimed Redirector so the only answer was Marsh’s NA was moved to someone else via Leelou.

People could be tracked to me but their action wouldn’t do anything unless it was a kill, so I don’t see what you’re saying with that. Pretty easy to figure out tbh.

If Marsh had claimed to see someone visit me, then yes, I would’ve known he was lying right then and there. He didn’t though, he said he got a result on Penguins. Who flipped Mafia. With the bus driver.

But his result on Penguins was correct, no?

I am also, of course, very concerned about 2 mafia still in the game. AJ and EP pushing Marsh last night looked really, really bad. Especially as they both made a point to mention that there is only 1 scum left.

We need to stay laser focused on town clearing.

I am not, I don't think this game started 10/5

I changed my mind. Krak posted he was a RB and I thought it was suspicious. So I flipped.

Later he said he was vanilla and a 1x rb which I didn’t like either. Pretty sure I posted in the tread that I changed my mind. Actually I know I didn’t cause Krak asked what exactly I did to him.

you've done a really poor job of explaining this

I'm hoping he can explain why I would have gotten results last night. He is the only person that hasn't been in here, that I've seen, and that I have no clue what the role could be. I don't know AJ's role either but he questioned how I could have gotten results last night which leads me to think that it's not him.

I was really hoping for AJ to come out and claim.

Honestly I"m really leaning toward an AJ/EP scum team, in which it probably won't matter who I Jail they have a 50/50 chance of still getting the kill through and we are one short and I have to convince probably Krak and NB of a 5 person scum team *facepalm*

if it is, you are the 5th member.

Can I assume you are now voting AJ?

yes

8 hours ago, Katiora said:

Yes I did. I have no clue why... My role says nothing about getting alignments. I just jail people and they can't die and can't use any NA. The mod said it was unexpected. I don't know what that means. I don't know how that happens. I'm as lost as everyone else. If there's only one scum he would be spewed town anyway because I jailed him and Cory still died, so unless I am convinced that there are still 2 mafia I would think that he would have to be town. But the mod confirmed with me, beginning of D4 that Krak is town.

I don't understand why it isn't obvious that someone else caused you to have a read.

The catalyst.

interesting. So now it makes sense why Darthe didn't know he was a double voter day 2, because it wasn't a part of his ability, though we saw that on his death.

Home from work. There’s really not a lot for me to say minus that I know somehow Marsh got a bad result. My role is passive and I don’t visit anyone.

I’m Judge Farris. My role is Ascetic Townie. Normal NAs don’t work on me minus NKs, so while I can’t be copped I can also not be docced and vigs would kill me. It’s pretty negative in utility, but it’s also a big reason why I believed Marsh D2 when he said his results were messed with because he couldn’t get a result on me directly.

The main bad guy Flagg hasn’t flipped yet and like I’ve been saying it wouldn’t surprise me if they had some custom role like we’ve seen multiple of for Town now. In the book he appears in people’s dreams in different forms so maybe it’s some kind of shape shifter thing or something. Marsh’s role was obviously to see all the possible NAs that Hallia could produce with her gifts, but seeing how OP Town was it makes some sense there’s a contingency in place. A red herring so to speak. I didn’t kill Cory but I guess I’ll have to wait for postgame to see what really happened.

I don't like this claim. Cory stated earlier it was obvious mafia had fake claims, and the only person that makes sense to be the jailer is Judge Farris. @Katiora who is your character?

wrong, he was not. Krak blocked Leelou night 1 it was your own main role that moved Marsh off you.

Where I've been:
I have an assignment due tomorrow but internet is down which will also affect my ability to be on here.

AJ has to be mafia. The fact that AJ is suggesting to jail him and I'm the other target AJ is probably immune to Jailer, so Jail me to atleast clear me. Let disabling me prove that it must be AJ.

Pengu wasn't the busdriver.

So he says, smart guy. Marsh obviously had something done to him.

Your logic is awful, honestly.

Also, I don’t believe Krak got anything from Hallia.

If anyone was paying attention, she tagged all three she gifted to. Cory, Zander, and me.

Sadly I can’t receive anything.
