It's baaaaaaaack.  The fifth year of my Final Fantasy music game is about to kick off.

 

Unfortunately, the current site software shortcomings make it very difficult to run here.  (Check last year's thread and you'll know what I'm talking about.)

 

So I won't be mirroring the game here this year, but you're all still very welcome to participate!  You can find the thread on FFShrine.org on the Anime, Film & Video Game Music Discussion subforum at this link.  I believe (could be mistaken) that you have to be registered to view the subforum, so if the link doesn't work just sign up and try again.  :)  I strongly recommend creating a unique password for this website, as it experiences frequent security issues.

Apparently the link is getting auto-blocked for malware uh

if other people are experiencing the same issue let me know and I'll just let you all vote elsewhere. The Shrine works fine once you're logged in but it was having issues if you aren't, and if they haven't managed to fix that in six months then rip.

Due to a number of issues with FFShrine and security/pop-up add crap, if it's not working in your browser or whatever you can vote in this alternative thread on MU instead.

a problem.

 

It doesn't happen once you're logged in but makes the site practically unusable for people who aren't registered yet or who get automatically logged out frequently.  I hadn't realized it was still an issue when I created this.

 

If I had to guess it's not being fixed because it's intentional.  The site owner hasn't been a participant there in a decade and it probably provides the add revenue she needs to justify not just closing the place down.  Unfortunate though.  The FF character knock-out game that someone else runs concurrent with mine ended up being canceled this year due to it.

haha that's understandable.  If you don't have time to play here you certainly wouldn't there; I don't think I've been in a game with less than 5000 posts.
