I still don't feel like she's really taken any initiative to talk with me directly in this game and I don't like that.

I have no idea if this is true or not, and I have no idea what it would mean if it is true.  I think Mafia!BFG would probably feel obligated to interact with you since you've basically been here all the time, and I think Town!BFG would choose to.

Though I can think of some things that may have had her pre-occupied.....

You haven't been a ~concern

I guess priority would be the better word

I mean the mechanical play is to no lynch today, but I don't feel like anything's really coming together so it doesn't feel like it would make a difference

There's probably truth to this.

In this case I'm not overly opposed to it.

It's actually not, but it probably works out the same.

Part of me wants to avoid it because I don't feel like playing what's going to be ~mostly the same day phase again, but I'm not opposed to it.

The other mechanical play makes me feel dirty just thinking about it

Because of how he analyzed the wagons.  I'm also a big fan of wagonomics, and I use it all the time.  I also happen to loathe the No Lynch under almost all conditions, and it's more than he used wagonomics....but the way he used it, shows me that he's coming from a townie POV.  If not, then he's identified an amazing way to completely fool me, and I'm ok with that.

Can you elaborate on how his wagonomics chat impacts your read on him vs how mine impacts your read on me?

I'm not sure we're on the same page

Unless you mean it's just kind of mean to have a sacrificial lamb.

Actually I guess you mean Turin?

I meant the other correct play is to ~mass claim, but that always feels cheap and even thinking it makes me feel icky

Posted

I'm saying the mechanical play is lynching Turin.  If he's telling the truth, he dies and we go to night, which is exactly what happens if we no lynch and he's telling the truth (again, he almost certainly is).

He's the sacrificial lamb because we're essentially lynching a unanimous townread.

You guys want me to just stop posting for the rest of the night?

That might have come out wrong.

I don't have some sort of out-of-game issue with them. Roles exist in games and we play those games.

Obviously there are situations where they benefit scum more than town.

@Shad my read on you from day 2/3 onwards was pretty much based entirely on postcount and the fact that there are only a few players who can 'lead' that way. The fact that wolf!you can post double the next player is now part of your meta which means you no longer get an easy pass for range. That said nothing you've said has particularly bothered me (except the early you/ben thing which still reads awkwardly) so you get to be an uneasy townread until/unless I get some real time to sit down and read through
