Looks like two of the winners from the head to heads will flip, and one of the losers. 

 

Does that mean it's a good idea to make townies lose? That way we'll only lose one townie, right?

 

Or does it mean that if we somehow make all three mafia lose on D1, mafia is eliminated and the game is over?

 

Is that decided randomly?

 

I just want to make sure if this means we essentially have cleared townies with the ability to vote.

 

Looks like scum decides. So in a way we could manipulate the results some, though I'm not entirely sure what would be the smartest here.

 

What do you mean about having cleared townies with the ability to vote? My understanding was that three people are removed from the game entirely, but that the others who lost their matches will continue on to the next matches.

 

 

Basically D1 eliminates one of each pairing from the tournament deal... I don't understand if there's a flip cause the rules say they keep voting. I'm assuming no cause that would be ridiculous. I THINK it means that we only get flips at the beginning of D2 via scum's choice? I'm trying to understand the mechanics.

Shad said there won’t be confirmed townies alive ITT during the sign ups, cause I was worried about that too. The only flips we get will be from the three players scum kill N1 and then the rest are all alive until the game ends, but there will only be four people to vote for on D2 and if need be a two player thunderdome D3 where one of them has to be scum. EZPZ

Doesn't that mean that if scum loses their pairings they will win the game? or are they not really in the game anymore?

 

Or if both scums and symp wins their matches on D1, will they win my majority D2?

Well either we’re both town and this is the winner/loser combo they most want to kill N1 or you’re the symp and the mafia team doesn’t/didn't realize it. I don’t think we’d be paired if you were mafia. Levels tho but that’s the assumption I’m gonna work with for the time being.

If BFG were mafia, why do you think you wouldn't be paired?

It reminds me a previous game where ben was scum and he was making all this fake frustrated/disgruntled comments and it just reads fake.

Outside of the symp being within you, Verb, or Nyn I feel like those are good players to force out early on so ~not Goons. This is without having any proper read on Nyn or Verb yet and discounting FPS wifomy stuff.

 

Which means the two scum that know each other would be within the remaining six. I feel like Sooh will be an easy enough read one way or another. I cleared Ben correctly last game and got a mod view of his scum game recently. I think I have an idea of how to read SK. Lenlo/LZM will be interesting to pick from.

I still don't understand something though. AJ you seem all "savvy" and a know it all so maybe you can respond.

 

Lets say we vote correctly in a scum/town pairing and the scum is out of the tournament.... that means that scum is still in the game and able to vote and we don't actually know we bagged scum?

Sure. It is based on how she has been super excited to get this game going during N0, almost impatient in fact. I think a scum-BFG takes this more seriously and isn't so prone to jokes during N0.
