I spent all day defending against what was an obvious narrative being established ITT lol. At least I was doing something. It's more than you or Aquilla can really say, and that goes beyond just last phase. My play from D1 doesn't magically disappear, as much as you're acting like it. My activity has been consistent while your's and Aquilla's (though with a late start) have either trended down or never really got above short spurts, respectively.

 

There wasn't much else for me to hunt. The people knocked out the bracket didn't matter and I know my alignment, plus felt good about BFG's. This was the long con play because you forced D3 to ensure that the narrative you cooked up had the longest time to soak in. I'm double yours, so yeah. And the majority of your posts came D1. You have tapered off significantly since that round was drawing to a close to here we are now. It's not a mystery.

Your equating post counts to effort to try to show how much better you are this game, so yes a general point is exactly what your making. Wolves can have effort to AJ.

There are certain truths in Mafia. There are players that can give a lot of effort and scum and have high volumes but they are exceptions to the rule, not common place. I could think of two for sure and maybe three off he top of my head that I have played with over the ~four years I’ve been here that could maintain a consistently high volume throughout the whole game.

 

So no, saying effort doesn’t decide alignment is not fully true. Effort in a single phase, maybe not. But effort across the entirety of the game is certainly indicative and can’t be ignored. Your’s dropped once D1 was more or less decided and Aquilla’s hasn’t ever really been there. All you had to do was wait it out once you set the bracket and submitted the NKs that would work in your favor and make me/BFG look worse.

People cant see it cause your making it up. It's not high volume that matters, anyone can manage high volume with spam. What matters is consistency in volume between alignments. There are a number of people who are volume consistent regardless of their alignment.

 

That is where your post = effort ploy falls apart.

What I see is that you set this up from the beginning, rode it into D3, and then started throwing a faux tantrum in the hopes that changing your tactic would make you look more town now that everyone sees what you've done. Now you're grasping at post count straws and listing all the things you'd never do as scum, when what you would and did do as scum is set yourself up against your partner with the idea that you would be guaranteed a scum at D2, then when you saw how handily you had beaten her and how town you looked to everyone, brought her back for round 2 and did it again, all the while telling us not to pay attention to the man behind the curtain, it's all wifom, nothing to see here folks, I'm still town, and now, you have decided that you can't wring anymore out of that and are acting outraged in a weak APE. Who knows? Maybe you'll at least get a tie, and my words will taste like losers cookies instead of winners cake, but i'm not buying it, and my vote's not changing.
