I mean, are you  known as a better player or worse player in this group? Because if BFG is scum, there's a reason she paired against you in the first place

AJ, it is my opinion that if BFG would have to beat you regardless, that she stands a slightly better chance at challenging you again earlier instead of later. Do you disagree with this?

Considering every player still alive minus SK voted her, if I remember correctly, then no.

No I don’t agree. If she’s the lone scum this matchup isn’t favorable. If she’s partnered with either of you, this matchup still isn’t favorable. Better to hope she beats the other player and hope her partner beats me to end the game, or purposefully flop so her partner makes it to the Final.

but that's what I'm saying the matchup doesn't get better later in the game...., in fact it argueably gets worse as you'd know for sure she's scum in that world. Also if she was with Lenio, them switching matchups would be slightly better I guess, but then Lenio would be the one to phase you and you still have "why did BFG get rezzed"

I understand what you’re saying. And if anything it supports my thought. BFG probably wasn’t making it to the Finals regardless. So assuming she is scum, why get rezzed and match with the person you just lost to? Why not your partner to force D3, or the other alive non-goon and hope you win that matchup?

There is guaranteed 1 goon alive. Because if both goons had died then they'd rez a goon to guarantee still be in the game.

If both goons had died, we would be down to the symp. Historically symps don't get any say in scum night actions.

 

There shouldn't be a rez if both goons were offed.

 

 

by alive I mean in the tournament, that wording can be confusing, and by my understanding even if both goons are out of the tournament, they still decide the pairings and revival.

yeah I see why you think that, but also like I said, the later the game, the worse for scum. If it were me I'd want the game to be over with sooner so the least likely thing I'd do is to pair up scum together (at least doing it intentionally)

Between me and BFG or in general on DM? I’m just a try hard. Sometimes I’m killed N1 as town, other times PRs get picked off first and I’m left alive because of that or because I’m wrong. Sometimes I get lynched late game because people tinfoil on me.

 

I’d say I am capable as any alignment and any role. I enjoy this game, and I put a lot of effort in. I’m not the best, if that’s what you’re asking.

Between me and BFG or in general on DM? I’m just a try hard. Sometimes I’m killed N1 as town, other times PRs get picked off first and I’m left alive because of that or because I’m wrong. Sometimes I get lynched late game because people tinfoil on me.

BFG might be considered a better townie than me depending on who you ask. Not necessarily at catching scum, but at being able to get town read.

 

That probably also has something to do with me being the stronger scum player, imo. People tend to tinfoil on me if I live too long, whatever the cause. Scum killings PRs or me just being wrong with some of my reads. I’m usually good for catching and lynching one scum at least

Don’t drink the juice. BFG couldn’t reproduce the content she has as scum in my experience, and if she that means she has intentionally set out on leveling me two phases in a row. I doubt this. I know that I am town.

 

That leaves Aquilla and Lenlo. One or both are scum.

Short answer: no. I think scum!BFG hopes she can slide by long enough D1 for me to ignore her (as well as others) and then NK those players promptly. That’s in a more convention setup, but like I said her being scum relies on her intentionally trying to level me in that manner and from my experience her gameplay wouldn’t hold up. Like I said about Sooh, she tends to be a ghost as mafia. She definitely wouldn’t be #3 in posts. That surpasses most of her completed scum games in total and this one is only in D2.

I mean you could also say that sometimes the obvious answer is just the right one in regards to the partner thing lol :P . I do get what you're saying though and I'm saying similar things except just from my perspective. I know I'm town and I don't see why Lenio wouldn't just revive his known partner if he was scum, which means that at least one of you or BFG is scum from my perspective.
