Also Clov, if Scoobs flips wolf, do you think it's still Bop and not even remotely close? And when you say not remotely close, it's within the context of the others on the wagon correct? Or to phrase that another way, if Scoobs flips wolf is Spadesbop a hard clear for you just the lowest of those clears?

 

Without knowing his alignment, I think it's an entirely clean wagon with pretty reasonable confidence.  I know I'm clear, I know Lindsey is clear, and I think Zander and Sooh are incredibly strong townreads for me.  If I were a census taker and got "1 mafia" on the wagon, I crucify Bop without second thought.  Their slot is the only one I'm not damn near positive on.  I like them a lot, but they're the easily the ones I'm least confident on.

 

If we lynch FC tomorrow and he flips scum, I'm calling the entire wagon clean officially.  Is it possible mafia!Bop moves over at deadline when he's sitting pretty on Town!Scruff?  Yeah, I suppose.  But is it even remotely likely?  No.

 

Yeah that was my thought as well. Little less strong the Sooh part though in a Scoobs!town flip. However,  She'd still be on the town side of things.

Eh, I get it, but I don't really see it that way.  If Scoobs is town, Mafia!Sooh had competing town/town wagons.  The switch isn't impossible, but I'd find it really strange for her to give me crap about steering a lynch "off" someone that she knows is town onto someone ELSE she knows is town, ~retracting the point upon clarification, and then moving over anyway.

Ok so double checked the Eldrick/Darhte/Scruffington/Sooh/MrsClov interaction (I was blanking cus it was both) that I was giving Eldrick credit for.

 

Scruff votes

 

Darthe votes an hour or so later, followed quickly by MrsClov

Zander and Spadesbop continue to fight 

 

Darthe comes back about an hour after his vote and kind of hedges on MrsClov's vote on Scruff, talking about how it's a weird action to take, but doesn't know if it means he's scum.

 

Eldrick kind of jumps on Darthe around 10 minutes later about him voting for Scruff...

 

All in all the entire interaction is 2 hours of real time, so yeah, I'm still giving him the same amount of credit I was.

Like imo it cant be like super easy in like FC/Fred/Cuth (right!?!?!?!?!( so i think theres very likely 1 Wolf in Eld/SBop/Sooh and I really really dont think its Sooh atp.

...I think his focus on me is to attack another weak town read to help add more bodies to the Null category, there was no substance at all to his sussing of me, and no attempt to really get a discussion going about me. I have similar people in my null as well, but didn't really focus on them because I had no formed thought on if they were bad or not. So I don't think it was a legit push or read on me, it was a strategic move to try and influence and expand the suss list. If Scoobs is town, I'd like to see more concrete reasons why he thinks I'm scum.

Clarification: was this part talking about Darthe, Scoobs, or me?

 

Yeah sorry Scoobs. His two top scum reads were Eldrick and Me.  Eldrick had a "little" more substance to, his read on me was completely void of substance.

 

It would be like me listing you as a top scum read that I wanted to lynch today and then Shrugging and saying cus when asked why.  It felt less like a legit read and more like, I just want to get Fred's name out there as another potential body to hide in for POE

 

 

K thanks. I like this explanation, and it fits with my own (somewhat less developed) impression of Scoobs.

Thanks!  We'll see, I kind of wander around right now cus my HS is dead.  Day phases are longer then I'm used to and 20 PPP is woat, but I like it so far.

FWIW day phases are almost never as long as this D1 was.

Mild thoughts and stuff for it: If Fleeing Coward is mafia, I don't think Sooh is a deep wolf. I doubt a wolf would call out their teammate for inactivity when there wasn't any pressure on them yet. I think Cuth looks the worst at the moment. He was on Iron and came out of no where and possibly put Scruffington in the lead when Fleeing Coward was having votes stack up on him. I think W/W is really likely at this point. With the exception of the joke vote on Cordyx, I think that everyone Eldrick voted for was after they had already voted him first. Given how much MmmBop was mainly on Aquilla/FC, I doubt their w/w together unless there's weird bussing going on, I can't rule it out but I don't know that it's something I'm going to look into right away.

I apparently don't have votes for Iron listed. I need to go back and check if he actually voted or if I just missed it.

As of right now my theory on the scum team is Cuth, Fleeing Coward, and Iron Eyes. Could throw in Eldrick or Darthe for funsies.

For me, Darthe is still firmly in my null pile and truthfully I'd be hard pressed to lynch him on D2. It's more of I've got a lot more reasons to town read a good chunk of the game than I have for him. I would much rather sort out FC, Cuth, Iron, and Eldrick first.

The supposed Scoobs D1 meta is a ridiculous easy meta to fake. Like probably the easiest.  Maybe in a sense one doesn't care about d1's usually, but it's just rote memorization to react...oh you're stupid D1s are stupid I'm not participating in your game cus you want me to.  Like I understand not wanting to scum read the guy for it, but to give him town credit for it to the point of actually saving seems incredibly illogical from my point of view.  Yeah you're white knighting the wolf I guess is possible, I just don't think there's a ton there to white knight.  

 

Either way I have 0 faith in Cuth's "read" on scoobs, if he's V it's not genuine because he's just friends with him and wants to keep Scoobs around, which is fine but not a reason he brought up, which I think I would in the same position.
