Ironeyes is the kind of villager who will form complex reads of his own volition and will voice them.

 

He's the kind of wolf ready to say whatever he thinks people will find him villagery for, who will shade teammates (willingness to vote FC) but generally will hold out on endangering his teammates as long as he can (vote never left Scruffington) ... see how he handled Darthe in FIght Club mafia as w/w. Same exact deal.

i have personally gotten the impression that his wolf game is cautious, he's not afraid to make reads, but has a hard time faking the sort of

 

thought process/standpoint that he has as town

is actually much less afraid to tell a top town itt that he thinks they're wrong as scum than town, i felt

That hurts my head. How is caring about the game, but not acting like it better than caring and acting.

 

If you are town, and truly care about the game, then it's comes through naturally in your actions.

 

Being town and not acting like you care about the game is worse. That's how you get mislynched.

It's not about what people should do, it's what people actually do

 

That chart was made for a player named Montecore who, as a villager, a lot of the times would act "too cool" to be super interested in the game, but you could tell he was thinking along and trying to figure it out anyway.

 

Marsh cares that people perceive him as "caring" about the game, but he's not thinking about in-depth in the way he does as a villager. The fact that the perception is stronger than reality is not a good sign. Does that make sense?

The red end of the spectrum already did. It's the green end that confuses me.

I think everyone might lol at me for this, but I had some deep weird tinfoil the moment eld softed his role of "is eld a mafia 1x vig who thought merking his teammate would clear him?"

 

Ofc it was just more likely he was a vig, until bop cc'd basically lol

Spades/Bop: Mostly because of Spades's engagement and obvious WIM

Cordyx: Tone read here. Both seem engaged and neither seems manipulative

Derf: Kinda the same as Cordyx. I'd expect scum!Derf to manipulate rather than contribute, as he has been doing 

Eldrick: Meta read. His behavior is similar to the last time I played with town!El (a game in which I completely misread him, much to my chagrin) 

 

Null 

Sooh: Not sure yet, but I think as the game progresses I'll be able to form an opinion on her soon enough. 

Zander: Basically I can't tell if this is town!Zander style tunnelling or scum!Zander faking to draw attention where he wants 

Cuth, Ted, Aquila: Not enough info.

Scruff: That vote and subsequent reaction to being sussed wasn't pretty. 

 

 

So, I'll throw a vote on Scruff for now. We've got almost a day left but I'm comfortable with this train. 

 

I am very intrigued by your justifications for both Darthe and me.  I don't feel Darthe has contributed a whole lot (though he has done substantially more than many players), and I've deliberately been slanking to be even less active than I would be just from my schedule/availability.

 

Well TBH my read on your slot is influenced more by Cory than you, but it's also just a comparison. So far in this game, "a lot of contribution" has a low bar to clear since like 75% of the game-related content has been from Zander, Spades, and Linz. Everyone else is kinda far behind, although many of us are working to catch up.

I would vote myself if it became an issue. Get's the mislynch out of the way if people are gonna tunnel... Frankly if it's this easy and everyone universally thinks that 2 out of 3 of is scum, I'm not going to survive a town flip on any of the others.

 

As much as I want to win, I also don't want to wait around a week to get lynched as town anyway because your POE is screwed up, if you're that paranoid of me being a snake oil salesman I don't have the energy to fight against the he acts like he knows to much claim, I'm just not emotionally capable of that right now.  If you legit scumread me, vote me off today so I won't be a distraction and you still have numbers advantage.

 

 

As an aside, it's not really an ATE and I hesitate to bring it up, I had news that was just made worse is all and I'm in a dark mood right now, so I'm not going to fight a lynch at all.  I will say I'm Vanilla town so you won't be losing a power role if you're afraid of that.

I think it's a high effort one? I don't have a reason to think it's disingenuous. I'd like to see his response first if I were to say he's a bigger priority then Cuth at the moment. If that doesn't happen he's as good a lynch as any at this point.

I say it only specifically bc I am pretty sure I remember Eldrick, once upon a time, talking in a wolfchat about using a teamkill on one of his teammates for [some strategic reason]

 

Its clearly tinfoil, but i try to spice up yr lives

In the universe where the mods confirm right now that there are NOT two town-aligned vigges, I could see a scenario where Eldrick shoots FC as the serial killer with the intent of claiming vig if need be.  To his surprise (or maybe not?), FC actually was mafia; he knows he looks good.  He claims it.

 

What he hadn't accounted for was the possibility of an actual vig that shot FC, as well.  Once the counterclaim comes, he assumes that claiming 1x is far more likely than multiple full vigges, so he goes that route.  

 

 

I'm not sure this is even a remotely likely scenario at all - just that it's possible.  If it is, he's pretty much damned himself to never shooting again.  With that in mind, I have no problem trying to work around him to clear up the other question marks.
