I can still see Eldricks as scum even with the Darthe vote. I can see it as him covering up his tracks so we go on chasing our tails mislynching villagers letting him catch back up. This is why dormant villagers are so dangerous to a game. One active wolf can throw everything off.

My thoughts on Tress are that she knew Hallia was the seer, she understood that clearly at EoD, my mentor informed me she lost a wolf game for not killing the seer once she knew. Cass-Dice soft claimed as seer as well, however, they claimed Tress as their n0 peek, which means unless she didn't read her own notes (very unlikely) she would have killed Hallia. Also Hallia wouldn't lie about that.

This is a good point, except that she never actually claimed Tress as her peek. (Pretty sure dice didn't either). I asked about this line when I was recording peeks. Never got an answer.

reddboiler is town because of tone and aggresive gamesolving

hallia is town because of tone and genuinity

songstress is lean scum because she is posting only fluff, but she is reading the thread. also she isnt new so she should know she's not helpful

spade is lean scum for reasons posted already. mostly tone

KK for D1

FTR I think all of the traits you point out for Redd, Hallia and Tress are NAL for each of them.

Redd's reputation (as an aggressive player from 2 + 2) does in fact preceed him.

Halleh's friendly/genuine tone here is much the same as every game I've played with her, regardless whether she was scum or Town.

Tress is Town and fluff this early for her is normal, regardless of alignment, you can check this by pressing the plus button next to her name in the database, and ISOing the first few pages of her most recent scum/Town games.

(You can do this for most players, though a few in this game haven't been active for a while)

She did treat Tress as town all game, though. Tress could have assumed it was a peek, or she could have thought it was a regular read.

It's a point in Tress' favor. If Tress was seer hunting, she would have likely read this as a peek. It's not as clear as I would like, but it's something.

I think the most cleared people (besides lzm and Spades ofc) are tress and shanti. If we can get them further cleared, we already won. Even for those of you that have to include me on your list.

Adella, Tigs, and me. We have 2 mislynches before lylo.

Shanti's early interactions with Alex already make me think she's town. Gonna work on clearing her for myself tonight. (For some reason, I haven't gotten around to reading her)

Ok, so, my reads, in the dumbed down version cuz no computer and stuff.

Spades-town, cuz Hallia.

Eldrick- town cuz he's trying to solve. Been the most active on casing and damn near led the lynch on Darthe.

Tigs- not sure of alignment, she did hammer Darthe, but could have been a distancing tactic as the Darthe train was rolling.

Shanti-hate to say it but I think she's town. Only for the reason it's her second game and I can't see her being the last scum. Even though waiting to take out Hallia until N3 would be a newb move.

Ok, I could go either way with Shanti.

Which leaves Tress and Adella, both skilled players. I think I found whom I'm gonna concentrate on.

Okay I just quickly read what I missed since day started I'm going to attempt to multiquote this stuff so that I can answer anything directed at me but I may have to do it quote by quote because doing that on mobile sucks.

Shanti voted on Alex and Darthe. Unless Alex was rude or something in qt and Darthe disappeared leaving her alone and frustrated, there is no reason for her to buss 2 wolf partners.

Why can Tigs bus and not Eldrick? Elrick was top train and been on my radar all game. I'm not saying he is my top pick, but he isn't most town imo.

Adella is my first scum pick, I don't think I would vote anyone before her.

I should have double checked dice iso before I posted that, but Cass was by far the more involved part of the hydra.

What I'm saying is between Hallia loving claiming her role and the n0 claim on Tress, it's unlikely for Tress to nk Dice-Cass. We should look at who they were pressuring early on.

Another thing is Tress and Darthe both n0 peeked Adella, one thing clear from that is that Darthe was wolf. I can see him claiming that on one. I will have to look back and see if tress claimed first or not.

My other thought is the buddy pocket attempt thing with darthe and Eldrick that Darthe could have used that as a distancing method which Eldricks clearly followed up on.

I don't know if I'm getting at the correct things here, but trying to look at all angles.

My point is that the peek wasn't clearly stated. The phrase "tress is town" was used in conjunction with a paragraph describing how tress plays.

It's the closest they come to a peek. It's what I assume their peek was. It's just also acceptable as a regular read.

So like I said, it looks good for tress, I just wish the peek was clearer, if it was the peek, so it could look better.

As to why I think Eldrick is town is his vote placement on Darthe train. He voted Darthe second I believe, which doesn't make sense to me if Eld is scum. I could see it as a bus if he hammered, but not as second vote on the train.

I do want to take a closer look at Adella.

I hated to say it cuz my reasoning was not the best. It wasn't based on gameplay, but rather my musings on the fact that it's her second game. Not the best of reasons for a read.

Morning all...

I've spent this morning beginning to organize thoughts and impressions and starting on a reads list to post tonight.

Quick notes:

Hopefully LZM has not fallen off the face of the earth and will turn up today.

Cass, if you could poke your hydra partner and get him to give me a bit more action, I'd much appreciate it. Otherwise, i guess we'll see what happens N1.

Will stay as current as possible during work today and respond to any questions if time allows, but as usual I can't do much in depth during the work day as I'll be on my phone and trying to keep it out of sight so I don't get in trouble, and they do expect me to do actual work for my paycheck. Whaaaaat.

Tress r u a wolf? Ur doin that wolf thing u do.

Not a bit, Dartheling.

But if you care to elaborate on what you think "that wolf thing I do" is, we'll chat.

@Tress what is "that wolf thing you do?"

You know, that thing where you perpetually explain and never get into the meat of stuff. That thing where you're behind then catch up and then are tired or gotta go or no ones talking and then you leave and it starts over again. That one.

At the time of the post you quoted, it was a shade over 24 hours into D1. You have played with me enough to know how I work. If you've forgotten, Seph quoted an explanation of how I approach the game during Kaylee's Murder Mystery game.

I never said I was not caught up, I never made excuses for anything, save that I will get around to "doing something" when I am good and ready.

Correct me if I am wrong, but as I recall, I made no promises prior to that post. If I make excuses and don't follow through on the promises I made there, you may have cause to be suspicious, but as of right now, that shade attempt just looks bad.

Do better.

This doesn't look like teammates. Like, at all. This screams darthe trying to shade tress.

Well then. So I set everyone that's dead on ignore. Pg24 is completely hidden.

Why would you do that? Ya can't even see their interactions then? Weird

Darthe - Very passive, thus a null read. He points some things out, but doesn't elaborate. Could be a town thing, keeping info close until it's obvious enough to make a case, but could be scum trying to just lay low.

Tress - I'm still waiting on that posting more she said she would do when she gets home from work... My gut is telling me null read until I get more, but I don't like how she pointed out that she will be posting, and then hasn't.

Spades - This is your second game, and I am seeing the newbie attitude of being excited and active, and that is generally a pretty townie thing. You're not afraid to get into it with another player, so not easily inimidated by a vote, which is also a good sign. After going back and ISO, you kept it cool through your exchange with Alex, as well as the pressure I put on you. I'm good with a town read on you so far, but still hesitant about your inconsistencies as far as who you said you had questioned.

LZM - Came in late, not enough info at this time. He has about 2 posts with any real meat on them, I need something more to chew on.

Tigs - Pretty consistent with her recent other townie playstyle. For now I say town.

Ed - Ed is playing a little differently than the 2 games I have seen him play, which is good cause he was scum in both. But, it doesn't make him town, so null atm.

Dice/Cass - Cass looks just like she did in the last game I played with her. Prodding, asking questions, keeping people talking. I say town atm.

Hallia - I am unable to get a read on you. You've posted a couple dozen times, but it has almost all been fluff. I don't know if that is normal for you or not, so I am holding judgement. Null.

Adella - Clearly town.

Redd - Ok, maybe it's your playstyle, but you post a lot without actually saying anything... Lots of "this is wolf" but nothing else until you are pressed. I don't like it, it doesn't sit well with me, but I come from the time where it was all walls of text from everyone. Slight scum read, but unsure because it may just be the playstyle issue.

Alex - Pretty defensive. As someone who says you read lots of games online (weird hobby btw) I feel like you should know how defensive will come across. At least you admitted when you were "rustled". Then you go into a relaxed tone, and then back into defensive/aggressive (yep, I said it). You're poking at a lot of people, specifically Hallia (who you later declared seems town), Spades, and Tigs (although you did go back on that later, and then decided she was scummy again) but you're not just poking, you're jabbing them with a stick. It reads more aggressive and that makes it feel less town as we go along. Scummy.

Shanti - This girl has good instincts, she is brand new but makes good points with her posts, doesn't get overly defensive, and asks questions. Not a lot of activity, and I withhold judgement just because I don't know if you're just a natural at covering up scum, or a naturally good townie, it could be either.

Eldrick - I am confused about your confusion with Ed. Obviously it was a claim on a N0 peek on me (which is accurate) to help protect the Cop/Seer. I've literally never been in a game where people have done that, and even I figured it out after a couple of people started announcing people as town. Other than that confusion, I'm getting a decidedly town read on you. Your posts have been prodding, you ask good questions, and point out good thoughts on people so far. For D1 it feels like good town work.

Lots of indecision and read hedging (italics). Shanti read in particular jumps out at me, because it's a great explanation for a D1 town tead, yet she still puts null.

Also noting that she came hard at alex, while leaving Darthe at "Not scummy yet, but leaving the door open to go that way later"

Underlined is unnecessary, and feels like she's trying too hard. N0 peek is obviously town and that didn't need to be said.
