Since around 1999, Orbit has been publishing the WoT novels using this style of cover. There's a simple elegence to them that some fans prefer.

The program for last weekend's JordanCon event contained a preview of the U.S. Tor Books edition book cover for TOWERS OF MIDNIGHT. It features artwork from Darryl K Sweet, the same artist who has done the U.S. cover art since The Eye of the World.

Towers of Midnight is being completed by author Brandon Sanderson, based on extenensive notes and recordings left by Robert Jordan. It will be released in the U.S. and worldwide on October 26, 2010.

Tor Books announced the schedule for the upcoming U.S. book tour that Brandon Sanderson and Harriet will be going on when THE GATHERING STORM is released. See below for the exact locations and dates.

On April 18th, Tor.com will be making some WOT artwork images available to the public. As I understand it, they will be high resolution images that you can download and use as desktop wallpaper, etc.

Issue #1 of The Wheel of Time: New Spring is scheduled to go on sale the third week of July. The comic is produced by Dabel Brothers Production and published by Red Eagle Entertainment.
