This week only, Tor Books is offering a free eBook copy of Mistborn: The Final Empire, by Brandon Sanderson. You can receive it if you register for their newsletter. Tor is doing this to help promote their new upcoming website.

 

Mistborn is a superb novel and serves as an excellent example of Brandon's writing. If you're still wondering about whether or not Brandon has "the goods" to write A Memory of Light, then look no further than this novel and its sequels.

 

The eBook will only be available this week for download. If you're late in grabbing it, you can always download the first chapter of this novel directly from Brandon's website.
